“I first want to say the owners are very nice. I do think they wanted us to feel comfortable and welcome. The house is old and beautiful, my curiosity of growing up near this property made me want to stay here instead of Hampton Inn. The access to the living and dining room was appealing because my family still lives in keokuk and we don’t have anywhere big enough to relax and visit together. “A good hotel with modern and spacious rooms and good wifi. The breakfast was not super but anyway quite good. The only thing I didn´t like was the fittnes room- poor!”

“We loved it here. Perfect location. It was an updated bathroom attached to our room. Breakfast was everything you want. Confusing a bit on checking in but otherwise great. I did think I was getting a view of the temple but I got the wall of the next building which was disappointing.”

“The room was clean. It had been recently refreshed with new decor. Either the nextdoor guest or previous guest had smoked in the bathroom. The owner was very helpful in trying to clear out the smell. For the price I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice it was. It looks to be family owned and they are going through and remodeling/refreshing each room. Air conditioning was fabulous. Beds are comfy and linens were fresh and clean.”

The floors and stairs are creaky but adds to the charm of an old home. Laurie is such a great host! We enjoyed her company very much! She made our stay so nice! We would definitely stay there again!”
