Charming! Private and cozy Nolin Lake cottage near Mammoth Cave National Park.

We would love to have you spend your vacation or weekend getaway in our welcoming lake house on amazing Nolin Lake. This seasonal lake view home boasts a fully furnished kitchen, beautiful hardwood floors, tiled bathrooms, and a gorgeous stone gas fireplace. Enjoy WIFI and streaming 200+ channels as well as hundreds of apps from your phone to the TV. There are lots of board games as well as a cozy space on the upstairs landing to read and relax.
Step outside to the covered wrap around porch with lots of seating and experience the peaceful scenic views and wildlife. There is a gas grill as well as an outside dining area that overlooks the serene water feature. Enjoy the firepit and the area just off the porch with tranquil overhead lighting.
Wax Marina is less than a mile away, offering boat rentals and a boat ramp to launch your watercraft. Be sure to visit the lakeside restaurant next to Wax Marina, with amazing views of the lake. There are also two stores less than a mile away with a wide range of supplies including groceries, gas, fishing tackle and boating supplies. Mammoth Cave National Park is just minutes away by utilizing the Green River Ferry route. Go horseback riding, zip lining, and see Dinosaur World less than 40 minutes away. Loved the outdoor space ! A Pileated Woodpecker visited on Saturday morning.Bed was super comfortable!It was decorated very nicely ..just a great cozy home for our weekend get away . May be back with friends to check out Nolin Lake .

Long weekend

Easy check in, very comfortable beds, great deck and pond with waterfall, nice fire pit. Kitchen was well stocked. Owner was very accessible and easy to communicate with. Lovely furnishings. 5 out of 5.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was absolutely beautiful. By far one of the nicest we have stayed in so far. My son enjoyed fishing and we did lots of day trips during the week. Mammoth cave is a must! We went to Lost River Cave as well. We went to the Corvette Museum and Nashville all in one day. Such a fun trip exploring Kentucky!

Lovely home near Nolin Lake

A sweet, comfortable house a short walk to Nolin Lake, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a nice kitchen. We were in the area to tour Mammoth Cave and would certainly return.

A little Kentucky Get-away.

The listing for the property was perfect and well described. The instructions and info emails that the owner sent were super detailed and made finding the place easier, as it was kinda hidden. I actually didn’t have any one-on-one contact with the owner (that’s a good thing! Nothing went wrong!) but his rules and info were helpful and much appreciated! The house was clean, cozy, and we had a nice weekend of playing games and watching movies.

Along the lake.

For anyone wanting a get away from the chaos of society, this house has what your looking for. This fully furnished house has the utensil and everyday needs to make getting away simple all you need is your suitcase!. The house has amazing wood work throughout the house giving you that cabin on the lake vibe, nestled along the lake. My family and i absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away!

Quick getaway

Everything was as listed. Clean and comfortable quick trip with the family. Drive to Mammoth cave visitors center was longer than expected, but that's cause we didn't do our homework properly. It is about 50 minutes to the main mammoth cave entrance.

Great Nolin Lake Stay

We have stayed here before and every time has been wonderful. Communication is great and the home is cozy, clean and comfortable. The covered deck is a great place to hang out after a day on the lake.

Beautiful and cozy

We loved the home! It’s beautiful, cozy and quiet! Our stay was fantastic and we would definitely stay again! Our only suggestion is that the directions, even using the alternate directions, did not get us to the home. This could be because it was dark. We would suggest giving directions to Circle Drive rather than the large building. Once we found Circle Drive, we found the home easily.
