Hotell i Claydon med Clattercot

“Needed a last minute stay and found an absolute gem with this place. It has just been taken over and they have made a great job of the renovation. Spotlessly clean. Really comfy bed and great shower. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Nice and quiet on a night even though it faces the main road. Two minutes walk to pubs and restaurants. Fantastic overnight stay. Would 100% recommend. Good luck to the new owners.”

“Nice stff but a bit worn. Restaurant level is pretty average”

“Mycket trevligt och litet hotell med bra läge. Det ligger inte i centrum, men nära till de flesta sevärdigheter i regionen. Personal, mat och service var av högsta förväntade kvalitet. Det enda vi saknade var aircondtion på rummet då vi var där i en värmebölja (utomhus ca 28-30 gr C i flera dagar). Hotellet ligger bra till, men utan störande trafik i en liten charmig engelsk by där man kan promenera eller få en härlig löprunda.”

“Looks can be deceptive. I needed an overnight stay on my way to London and booked a night's stay in this pub with rooms. Easy to park and had a warm friendly welcome and offered a decent sized room well appointed and clean. No food was available, however, only a short walk from several other pubs serving food and good restaurants who can look after you. Breakfast wasn't available, however, they leave some very tasty breakfast snacks for you in the room wit plenty of tea and coffee. I would...

“Kind staff. This hotel is in a service area and the breakfast is served in a diner in the service area. Inconvenient location when staying there several days (there is no connection between north amd west side and hence must one drive to the closest exits to be able to access the place (everytime we came from the wrong oocation).”

“Very nice, clean and friendly place. Parking, pub/restaurant and just a few minutes drive up to Silverstone. I will most definitely come back. ”

“Trevligt bemötande, familjär känsla. Bra parkering. Mycket bra frukost. Smidigt att ta bussen till Oxford som tar 1 timme. Mysig by som är trevlig att strosa runt i, hade fyra pubar på denna lilla plats! Trevlig lokalbefolkning.”

“An old building and we had stayed just once before the current owners took on the hotel. The staff were friendly, excellent prices for drinks both in the restaurant and bar. The Sri Lankan food was superb, tasty and full of flavour, next time I'll as for it to be hotter. The room was clean, comfortable despite being in an old building. Bathroom spotless, lovely fluffy towels, perhaps a little smell of damp in them. We will certainly return.”

“Supernice host, great breakfast and close to restaurants.”

“Dirty, worn, bad food, bad service”
