“Check in was easy & we were shown our room & where everything was. We were asked what we wanted for breakfast & what time. The breakfast was very good & prompt including toast & either tea or coffee. The location is very central & within walking distance & has a car park which made things easier. The only downside which was beyond their control was the 17 weeks of roadworks nearby which confused the sat nav. Definitely would use again. “The hotel looked nicer in the pictures than it was in reality. Very small and worn rooms, which were damp and uncomfortable. The room was very sensitively. No paintings or any color. The bathroom was disgusting with a toilet seat that didn't fit the toilet seat. Very cramped bathroom with an old and worn shower. The double bed was only 140 cm wide. Too narrow for two persons. “The hotel is very dated. The staff are very friendly. It was quite clean but being a Towncenter hotel it was extremely noisy through the night into the early hours of the morning and then to cap it off workmen started work on the McDonald’s opposite at 6 am in the morning, so I’m not a great night sleep. ”

“Parking was a nightmare but soon sorted out. Service was above and beyond, owner driving around until he found a fish and chip shop open and bringing us back a lovely meal. Super breakfast with lots of choice.”

“Although there was scaffolding on the back of the building, there was no noise or evidence of building being done when inside, a credit to the cleaning team. The staff are wonderful from the great welcome on arrival to the next morning’s fabulous breakfast team. Thank you”

“Trevligt hotell med fin utsikt mot floden. Sköna sängar och rymligt rum. Trevlig personal och helt ok frukost. Hotellet hade bra läge precis mittemot stationen varifrån det också gick bussar till t.ex. Grassington och Malham. Det enda negativa var att hissen var ur funktion samt att det var bröllop ena kvällen och då var det mycket högljutt fram till midnatt.”

“Stayed in the cottages for a wedding weekend. Everything was lovely and the location is just fabulous. The food was lovely and the staff all worked really hard and were there morning until night. The cosy lounges were a bit too warm when the fires were roaring but there are other rooms to sit in. Will definitely be back 👍”
