Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool but just there for 13 hours. Stayed in a cute basic cabin right by the pond. The T.V. turned on but had no programming and the shower's hot water only lasted long enough for one person to get soaped up (cold rinse). We were double charged but the friendly staff was quick to rectify the problem.

My friend and I stayed in a bungalow, and it was satisfactory. I was disappointed that there weren't separate shampoo and conditioner provided, however the all-in-one product that is supplied, is better than average and therefore surprised me, in a good way. Also, while a small bar fridge is in the room, there is no microwave, which did affect our snacking options. The mattress is ok, as in, miles better than sleeping in a tent, but needs upgrading. I must say the front desk attendant was wonderful. We ate at the attached restaurant, and unfortunately there was only one server to cover the tables and bar, so I don't feel I can give her service a fair judgement at this time, but I will say that she was friendly. I loved how quiet the grounds were at night.

It's just off the main road through town. Which gives you a nice quiet area to hang outside without the highway noise. Super friendly and helpful stuff make sure you have a fantastic stay.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room is huge. Plenty of parking spaces. Walking distance from shops. The room is clean but really needa updating like the bed and pillows.

This is a hidden gem of a place! And I hope everyone finds it. I stayed in one of the bungalows, for a very reasonable price. It was clean and cozy with a beautiful view. In the morning when it was time to be on my way, the owner made me a perfect latte for my long journey. Wish I could have stayed longer. I will certainly be returning.

I enjoyed my stay in the cute little bungalow. It felt like a perfect little retreat for a few days. The staff at the restaurant/office were very friendly and helpful. I liked that I could walk to the restaurant for supper every night and not have to drive anywhere.

There has been no complaint about Room 14's coffee maker not working before or since your stay, and nobody informed the Office at all during your stay... if that was the case... as we would have switched it immediately. The heat control for the Heaters is on the front of the heater, and there is a cable package on the flatscreen television. Thank you very much for your stay! :)

We chose to stay here on the basis of great reviews on this site but we must have rented a not-so-good room. Our room had a pervasive mildew odour. Glassware was dirty. Neither of those things were the end of the world, but what was more concerning was the very strong gas smell coming from the rattly heater during the night. We had to open all windows all night long because of worry about gas inhalation and we hardly slept because of our concern. Look this is a stunning part of the world and this looks like a cozy caravan park, but the room we were in was not great.

Used tissue left beside the bed. Visible dirt in the entranceway. Run down. Toilet paper holder ripped out of the wall with hole in drywall. If you want a cheap place and don’t mind a little dirt and disrepair, then this is the place to stay.

Kleines ruhig gelegenes Häuschen in einer Gruppe von Doppelhäuschen mit eigenem Zugang um einen größeren angelegten Teich herum mit einem mittig gelegenem Springbrunnen auf einem Campingplatz mit vielen RV. Einkaufen ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Anlage liegt direkt an der Straße in den Wells Grey Provincial Park, keine Lärmbelästigung.

We were in the bottom level cabin and there was a crack in the ceiling above the tub. When the person above us took a shower the water leaked through the crack for about an hour afterwards

Not impressed with the bungalow we stayed in, over priced for what we got. Smelly odor in bungalow. No microwave only a fridge. Sprinkler was left on outside our cabin all night so it hit the building and the bathroom window was open so water came in through window into bathtub. Good thing we closed the window above the bed before the sprinkler was turned on or it would have been a mess.

We stayed in the family room so was nice to have the ability to cook. Fun place and fantastic staff. We had a big dog and they welcomed him too. Property needs a bit of updating but we overlooked that due to the great staff.

Thank you for the review! Yes, the facility is a little dated, we are into year two of owning it and we have very extensive renovations happening this winter to fix that issue. Our staff is excellent, we agree. :D Thank you.

This was a welcome surprise after 9 hours of driving! The staff was knowledgeable and check in was seamless. My 12 year old quickly changed into a swimsuit and had a blast in the pool with another guest. I walked our dog and then had a quick dip myself. We had fresh fish and chips from the restaurant and then a super quiet and restful sleep in the cabin. It’s a bit dated but I can tell that the upgrades are continuous and the place was so clean and welcoming. I did a 5km walk the next morning past Dutch Lake and packing was quick with the car just outside the cabin. I will definitely be staying here again!

Hello, yes, the windstorm we had here knocked out our communication tower for internet and new parts are on order, and our very clean, well maintained rooms are in need or modernization, which is booked for this winter. Thank you for mentioning the excellent pricing, clean facility, well maintained outdoor pool and licensed patio, on site restaurant, laundromat and walking spaces that we have kept green and flowery during a 10 week drought..
