“Canyon Lake Resort is rather old, but well taken care of. Clean and comfortable I've visited quite a few dodgy hotels around the US where ones have let the interiors deteriorate, this was certainly not the case here even though some of the furniture could do with an upgrade. The rice was rather steep for our visit, in July 2018, but other hotels in the area were even more expensive.”

“We rented a king suite with a balcony. It is a new property, so everything is really nice. It was clean, the housekeeping the staff was excellent. The breakfast was OK. Location is wonderful if you are looking to explore all of the natural beauty in South Dakota. We would definitely stay here again.”

“i had to stay at the Comfort Inn for a few weeks due to my fiancé’s medical emergency. The staff was unbelievably helpful. They arranged a medical rate without my having to request one, moved me downstairs to a king suite so my fiancé, if discharged, wouldn't have far to walk, and then, while I was tending to him in the hospital, had all my luggage set in the new room when I returned at the end of the day. “Quality Inn is not a remarkable property. It is clean and convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is tasty and we enjoyed the afternoon cookies. The coffee is excellent.”

“One worker was very polite, the rest were rude and unhelpful. The halls and rooms were filthy. Garbage literally all over the floor and the carpet was so stained you couldn't even tell the original color. There was absolutely no breakfast, just a loaf of bread with no toaster. The hot water did not work in the room, there was no internet and the fridge didn't work.”

“I was warmly welcomed upon arrival. The room was ready and clean as was the bathroom. The breakfast ok…nothing that stood out. I was disappointed that there was no water dispenser or pitcher available when we checked out. Leaving the key cards in the bin made checking out quick.”

“This site was beautiful inside and outside, and the staff were very customer service oriented. The room was spacious with comfortable chairs, love seat, and bed. I would recommend this location.”
