âCameron (owner) was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the local area, he also prepared a great breakfast.
Our room was on the top floor, a comfortable and decent size room and large bathroom, it also had sea views across the harbour
Our visit was for a birthday celebration, we were given a card and a bottle of Prosecco in our room which was a nice touch and much appreciated.

âThe hosts, Andy and Ann are very friendly and approachable and ready to sort out any issues. I enjoyed the full English breakfast every morning which was cooked to order and a self service area for tea, coffee, toast etc. Since my last visit a couple of years ago the Wi-Fi has been much improved and the small TV has been replaced with a 40" smart TV.
The grounds are always well kept.
The only downside was using Expedia for the first time. They told me my room was booked but Saltburn House...

The best part is the staff - they are just SO friendly, helpful but very professional.
On our first evening, as we sat in the lounge, we were approached by an elderly gentleman who enquired how long we were staying and where we had come from etc.
We asked him how long had he been staying there and as he walked off he replied "98 years".
It turned out he was 98 year old Lord Gisborough!
