Weeds were 3 foot tall. General maintenance was not done. The area was very sketchy. This is very old property. Big windows on ground floor hardly speak to safety. The office guy was understanding and owned it!

Non smoking property yet my room reeked of smoke, and no refrigerator. I only needed a room for the night but this was borderline not worth the price. Felt so gross sleeping there.

We are sorry to hear that you weren't happy with your room. When guests are checking into a room thay are asked not to smoke within the room and only in the designated areas, unfortunately not everyone is following the rules. If you are not satisfied with the room a simple request at the front desk would have made all the difference. Our staff would have happily reassigned your room. As for the room not having a refrigerator, the lowest priced room type was selected and does not include this amenity. In the future, please alert the front desk staff to correct any issue you may have upon arrival.

I had a very great stay here at the Red Roof Inn. Crocker park is only a minute walk away from the hotel. The area is very quiet and the staff were great! Thank you Jesus!

We had a luxury room around the back. Though the buildings are definitely older, it still was very clean, the bed extremely comfortable and all the basics were provided for. The staff were also very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My sister and I stayed at the red roof in during our week retreat. We picked it mostly because of the price and the convenience. The don't desk staff was very friendly, and the area was quiet for the most part and the area had many food options and was close to the mall. However we were not prepared for the amount of dog hair and ting bugs that easily crawled under the door into our room. We only saw a house keeper once to get new towels and rags. And I did at one point have to ask the front desk for toilet tissue. So...not the best experience and not the worst either.

Would never stay again
The room was gross, bed terribly uncomfortable, pillows stained, heater not ac worked so the room was very cold, when I walked in the fire alarm was on the floor so leads me to believe the room was hardly cleaned before me checking in. Would never stay again.

We notice that you had a 4-night stay and there is no notation that there was any notice given to the front desk regarding the issues in which you have mentioned. If you had done so we would have been able to correct the issues that you had or would have changed the room to ensure that you had a good stay. I’ve stayed at several hotels in this general area as it is a very convenient drive to Lakewood. This hotel was significantly less expensive than its neighbors so I thought I’d give it a try. I was not disappointed. The room was on the second floor with very easy access and parking. Room was clean and quiet. I was happy to to be near the airport with its noise Staff very friendly and welcoming. It’s definitely not a luxury hotel but if you’re looking for a simple, clean room with easy access to I-90, I would recommend this place.

We have stayed here several times. It is nice for the money. The staff is very nice. What we discovered this time I love: Instead of little soaps that get wasted and little shampoo bottles that add plastic to the landfill, there are now dispensers. Great!

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry there were some issues with the water during your stay. All of our guests that were affected were offered a room change, you chose to not change rooms. The offer was still available the entire length of your stay and you still declined. Hot water would have been available in the room you were moved to.

No hot water, no breakfast anymore, no maid service for my 2 day stay. Hot water breakdown led them to offer me to move (I did not because I had just moved in) but NO offer of any discount on the room. The staff was EXCELLENT…. But I was told there was new management and I am questioning the management’s policies.

When guests are booking through another site, we are not able to make changes to the rate in which the guest is paying. We can offer you another stay with us for the inconvenience. This is not a management policy, but the third-party policy.

Great hotel, except no dresser.
Good location and good rates. However, it would be nice if the room had a dresser . We have to leave our clothes stacked on the bench. We don't like living out of a suitcase.

An unexpected surprise !
The area the hotel is located at is safe and nice. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The daytime desk clerk was amazing. There ended up being a problem around 3 am. I woke up to water dripping across my face. Upon turning the light on and looking up I seen the ceiling leaking water and it looked like the ceiling was quite wet over the top of the bed.. I put a towel on the bed to catch the drips to keep it from soaking the mattress. Since there was a child and another family member in the room I did not want to wake her up at 4 am in the morning, so I decided since it was just a drip i would wait to notified the front desk in the early morning. I did not go back to sleep after that. The Clerk was very apologetic but she told me they could not compensate me in any way because I booked through Expedia. I am not happy about this and think I should have been given a complete refund! Red Roof Inn should take the brunt of this mishap as it was not my fault they had a water leak.

I was under the impression, that you understood that the leak was not the hotel fault, it was a guest whom left the water running and damaged the ceiling of your room. I am sorry that you are not happy about the compensation but I remember very well that you were happy when I upgraded your room reservation from a simple standard room to a DeLuxe room, for free. Giving these facts, I consider that is not the hotel fault for the issues, there forth I can not agree to a refund. Have a wonderful day.

Curtains were used as bed spread. Family living next door. One bed was meant for queen mattress so metal frame sticks out. Good to catch a leg on. A drawer to the dresser was left on a bed. Carpet needs a good cleaning. Two half pillows for each bed. Coffee pods and all you need for a cup of coffee but no coffee maker. Pretty bad overall. Don't even consider.

We are sorry for the issues that you have encountered on your most recent stay. Unfortunately, the night in which you stayed with us we were sold out and were not able to change your room but would have done so gladly if one was available. For this reason, when you spoke with the Assistant GM you received compensation for one room.
