âThe hotel have good and bad stuff. The bathroom was pretty good. Floors could have been cleaner. Bed was good. Building quite old and elevetor not upgraded, real old school elevetor. Hallways didnt look fresh and had some weird smell. Worse problem is bad isolation. The cold weather made it freezing inside. Only one radiator that didnt do enough for a decent temperature.
Decent location but much homelessness in the neighbourhood. â
âIt's a great group. The neighborhood is safe and my family will make sure you are taken care of no matter what. San Francisco is my home. It's the type of place where you walk around at 3am and people just want to help.â
âStaff are friendly, location is excellent. Very quiet area of San Francisco right next to Golden Gate Park, but it's 2 blocks from muni so you can get downtown (or almost anywhere else) in about 15 minutes. I also love the historical character of the building. Highly recommend this hotel for people looking for the slower, less touristy side of San Francisco.â

âMe and my husband stayed at Travelodge for 4 nights and are VERY pleased with the hotel. The room was quite big and quiet, the bed was really nice and soft and it was nice that free wi-fi and breakfast was included. But the absolutey best with the hotel is was staff! They were so helpful, giving us tips about what to see and do in San Francisco, and cherful every morning when greeting us at the breakfast.
I absolutely rcommend you to stay with them, you will never stay at a more friendly...

"Hotel with great view on Van Ness, next to california cable car stop leading to port of SFr. Nearby Polk street is nice for restaurants etc. Had a room enclosing the elevator shaft and the noice from was strong. However, I had for some reason no problem sleeping. The good bed might have helped. The restaurant wasnt that that great but there are many nice places around. "
