âHad a very comfortable stay. Beds really comfy. Staff really good especially Fiona she was very helpful. One little thing shower was too cold and also could do with recycling bins . It was lovely and clean . Have stayed before and would definitely stay again. Durham a lovely city. â

âItâs a lovely hotel and very convenient stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. Iâm not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish.
Iâm being picky hoping Iâm being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. â
âLovely hotel, our room was great and breakfast fantastic. Didnât use the pool, fitness centre or spa so canât comment but they looked nice. Did do a 7km walk run on one of the recommended routes around the hotel which was very scenic. Weâll definitely return when the build is finished and new restaurant is open.â

âI stayed here for the Great North Run in September. The staff are dedicated, to the point of opening breakfast from 5am on the day of the Run for runners! Exemplary and very easy to walk to the centre of Durham.â

âThis was a very nice comfortable place. We had a little trouble finding it. Was easy to check in and out of. The only suggestion I would make was to put the exterior patio lights on a timer so that they turn off at nightâ if itâs hot and you have the window open then you have all the light from the patio. But it was very clean and comfortable.â
