Lovely DOWNTOWN CODY: Salsbury Corner Cottage

This sweet house is located right in the heart of the historic downtown Cody, Wyoming. It is full of character with the original plinth blocked trim and unique layout. The complete newly renovated interior of the house gives the 1917 historic build a fresh and clean, yet cozy feel. The house features an open entry way that walks you right into the dining area and opens into the living room space. The living room area features a flat screen smartTV and the house is equipped with free WiFi connectivity. The house has 3 bedrooms each having a queen sized bed and an additional flat screen smartTV in the master bedroom. The house sleeps 6 in beds (2/queen bed) but there are 3 couches that children can sleep comfortably if the extra sleep space is needed. The private backyard and patio provides for a secluded gathering space for outdoor dining.

Your short walk through the historic neighborhood will take you to all of the amazing restaurants, boutique shops, The Irma Hotel, The Cody Theater and The Buffalo Bill Center of the West museum. Whether you are here for a family reunion or just a get away to explore the Yellowstone National Park, Cody is the place to be! With so many daily events, it is often hard to choose what to fill your time in City Park, The Cody Night Rodeo, golfing at Olive Glenn Golf Course visiting the Buffalo Bill Reservoir or fishing in other area lakes, taking in a scenic drive up the Chief Joseph Hwy leaves no chance for boredom.

Our lovely rental property is made available for visitors the entire year.

There are actually 5 museums here and while Buffalo Bill's story is the star attraction, the Yellowstone Natural History museum was also really interesting. I was so impressed by the quality of the exhibits and the old photographs were just wonderful. A real surprise

Delightful home in an excellent location for visiting Cody! Easy walk to the charming downtown. We stayed with our adult son and 14-year-old granddaughter, and the home worked very well for us! Check-in was a breeze, and the house is cozy and well-equipped. We would recommend it! Beds, linens, kitchen equipment and all were great! The host was very easy to communicate with and responsive! The unusual thing for us was that there is no closet in the master bedroom at all, and the TV in the master bedroom is in a location that makes it pretty much impossible to watch from either the couch or the bed. I would suggest to the host that they use hardware to hang the TV, allowing it to be pulled out from the wall and rotated to a place where you could see it from either the bed or the couch. The house was clean, and there was great information on local attractions that we really appreciated! All in all, an enjoyable stay! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Cutest Spot

We really enjoyed our stay in Cody, Wyoming! The home was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed! The host was amazing having everything ready for us and responded quickly when we reached out with a question. Highly recommend staying here!

Father / Son Fishing Trip

We booked this property for a father / son fishing trip in the area, and the property was perfect for our stay. House is conveniently located within walking distance to many of the restaurants and attractions in town. House was very clean and spacious.

Lovely house in a great location

We had a great stay - the house is super convenient for downtown Cody and was the perfect size for our family of five. Two teeny niggles - 1) a lack of hairdryer and 2) the driveway slope is super steep (we were warned and were v careful, but it could cause some serious damage!) Otherwise all great!

Cozy home, great location

We loved our stay in this home in Cody. The location is perfect, close to everything. The owners really make the place feel like home. We appreciated the laundry facilities, including pods and dryer sheets. Beds were so comfortable and there were signs and brochures that answered every question we could have had.
