Lake Champlain vid vattnet - Privat brygga, plats för 12, minuter till Burlington

  • Post-and-beam home on the Vermont shore of Lake Champlain, with westerly views over Niquette's Bay and sunsets straight off the water. Twenty minutes to Church Street in Burlington, under an hour to Stowe, Smugglers' Notch and Bolton Valley.

    The dock is the thing people come back for. An oversized floating dock running out to deep water - bring the boat, swim off the end, or just sit on it. There is a public launch at Mallets Bay a few minutes away, and extra land here to park a trailer.

    SLEEPING - 12 PEOPLE

    A-frame loft: two full beds, side by side with space between - sleeps 4
    First-floor master: full bed - sleeps 2
    Downstairs en suite: king bed and private bath - sleeps 2
    Basement room: trundle beds - sleeps 2
    Living room: pull-out couch - sleeps 2

    The open area of the loft also fits three or four air mattresses comfortably, so families travelling with kids can add several more without anyone being on top of each other. Ask me and I will tell you honestly whether your group will fit.

    Everything in the house is included in the price. No locked rooms, no add-ons.

    THE REST OF IT

    Fully equipped kitchen. Gas grill with the gas provided. Outdoor brick oven. Two washers and two dryers. Starlink satellite internet, which out here is genuinely fast.

    Hot tub is open June 1 through November 30. It is drained and winterized December 1 through May 31 - I would rather tell you that up front than have you arrive expecting it.

    THROUGH THE YEAR

    Summer is swimming, boating, fishing and long evenings on the dock. Autumn is the hiking, with trails from easy to serious, and the foliage people fly in for. Winter is skiing at three mountains within an hour, the VAST snowmobile trail nearby, and ice fishing on Niquette's Bay a short walk away.

    HOUSE NOTES

    No pets. No events. No smoking indoors. The road in is 20 mph and the neighbours take it seriously.

    The same families come back year after year. Happy to answer anything before you book.

    Security: Two exterior cameras cover the driveway and front entrance. There are no cameras inside the house, and none face the hot tub, deck or dock.

    Hot tub: included 1 June - 30 November. From 1 December to 31 May it is winterized, but we can open it for your stay with at least 7 days' notice for $250 - refunded in full if extreme cold prevents a safe fill.

From the docks, to the rooms to the extra towels and sheets - everything was fantastic. We had a great time in the hot tub as well as using our two boats that we had tied to the dock. The kitchen was well stocked and both washers and dryers worked well.

Beautiful well-kept lakeside retreat! Excellent for families, lots of toys and things to keep kiddos busy. Well-stocked kitchen. Grill was easy to use. Overall a wonderful stay. We hope to be back!

Great views

Nice place to stay and access to dock and the lake was a huge bonus especially being on Mallett's bay which seems to be generally calmer than the main lake.

Kyle’s place was awesome! The dock was super fun to hang out at, his place is super accommodating of everything you’d need for a fun lake weekend and quick ride into town.

Family Vacation in VT!

Wonderful stay and great house. Very well stocked, couldn’t beat the swimming and kayaking even with some crazy weather this week. Kyle was very responsive when needed. Loved it!

Great week!

Very private location with nice lake views and dock. Had a great stay and Kyle was very helpful with everything. Nice place with quiet setting yet still only 15-20 minutes from downtown Burlington. Highly recommended!
