âFor it's location, the property is excellent. Overall, it was very good. The staff are super friendly and courteous. The amenities are not the best, but also not bad at all. If you need to stay in Winters, Texas...this IS ABSOULTELY WHERE YOU WANT TO BE. The hotel is average is most ways. It is maintained well and is very clean and there is nothing offensive here at all. I would say that the fitness center needs to open earlier than 6:00 am and probably should be 24 hours like most places. I had...

âRude. Very loud cursing argument in hall between hotel room cleaners and maintenance man. Cleaning cart left in center of isle on two occasions and was not able to pass with my wheeled walker until my wife moved it. I have chosen La Quinta on dozens of previous stays.Always very pleased . B Davisâ

âCovering up smells - had to unplug all air freshener plug-ins as soon as we walked in - it was totally suffocating! Water pressure was so bad the toilets would not flush half of the time we were there - we did not call for help as we we know there would be no fix - and shower had very low pressure.
