Om boendet

Private Eastern Sierra Home on Hwy 395, King Bed

  • Welcome to The West Walker House, a standalone one-bedroom home tucked at the front of the Historic West Walker Motel, yet completely private, with its own entrance, driveway, and fenced backyard. It is the perfect two-person basecamp for fishing, hiking, and exploring California's Highway 395 corridor, where Sierra serenity meets historic charm.
Wake up to mountain views, brew a pot of coffee in your full kitchen, and set out for the West Walker River, Topaz Lake, Bridgeport, Bodie, or the eastern gateway to Yosemite. Come evening, cook a real dinner, stream a show on the smart TV, and let the quiet mountain air settle in.
Original 1940s character meets a clean, modern-Western remodel: light wood floors, crisp white walls, and thoughtful cowboy-and-Sierra touches throughout. The entire home and yard are yours.
