“We were very excited to stay here. Beautiful property, on the beach, a little hard to find, limited parking spaces… but the pool area was gorgeous. Check in was a wait. They don’t start until 4 pm and we arrived about 3:45 and got in line a bit hungry, thought we’d grab a quick pre dinner snack from the hotel market but it closed at 4 pm. So it felt like two strikes right off.

“This was our second visit to Montage Palmetto Bluff and once again it did not disappoint. The hospitality we find here is second to none. Everywhere we went we were greeted with smiling faces. We’d like to give a special shout out to Carmela at the concierge desk who was so incredibly wonderful with our 4 year-old son, Henry. Everything she did and every recommendation she provided enhanced our stay. The natural beauty of this place is beyond compare. We cannot wait to visit again. ”

“The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Having free parking is wonderful, outside and in the garage. The room overall smelled and appeared clean but the bathroom bathtub could have been cleaner, it was like slightly grey as if there was build up dirt. Also, the cleaning policy is every other day which is ok but I had to ask them to clean because they didn't even when they were suppose to. And the area is pretty quiet so it's good if you don't like noise. Overall I would give the place a 3.5”

The hot tub was colder than bath water and the entire pool area felt unsafe.
