Apartment SAINT-MARTIN2, in the heart of Colmar

Located in the heart of Colmar city center, in a lovely and quiet pedestrian courtyard, the Saint-Martin2 apartment is a charming 100mÂČ apartment that can accommodate 4 people. On the 2nd and top floor (no elevator) of a small building, the apartment offers a unique view of the Saint-Martin Collegiate Church, located less than 100m away (yes the bells ring day and night!). Its exceptional location, just steps from restaurants, tourist attractions, and the Christmas and Easter markets, allows you to explore the city entirely on foot.

The apartment features:
- two bedrooms, one with a large double bed (160x200 cm) and a private bathroom, and the other with two single beds (90x200 cm),
- a spacious living-dining room with a flat-screen TV.
- a fully equipped open kitchen (oven, microwave, induction hob, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer, etc.),
- a bathroom (shower, double sink, toilet),
- and a second separate toilet.

Bed linens and towels are provided based on the number of people on the reservation. Free Wi-Fi.
Mobile air conditioners in living room and bedroom 1.
Please note that we do not allow the sofa to be used as a bed. No additional bed linen will be provided.
A baby crib and high chair are available upon request.
A secure storage area in the courtyard allows you to store bicycles.

Several paid and free public parking lots are available a few hundred meters away. The TGV train station is a 15-minute walk away.

We live in the building, on the 1st floor, and we will be available to answer your questions or in the event of a problem, and will be delighted to share our good addresses for restaurants, wine bars, pastries, cheese shops, caterers... and ideas for visits.

This apartment was amazing. Such a wonderful place to unwind after landing in Paris. The location couldn’t be better. It’s right in the middle of town but also felt quiet and secluded. Views from every window were beautiful. It was about a 15 min walk from the train station. We did it with 2 kids and all our luggage and it wasn’t a big deal. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. There was even a special little area for my kids to sit and color. It was wonderful to have the kitchen and laundry in room. We traveled as a family but it would be perfect for 2 couples as well. 2 bathrooms and bedrooms made for ease of getting ready and the option of privacy. The host was also amazing. My son was having issues with an ear infection. I reached out for a doctor recommendation. She responded almost immediately with a recommendation and offering help. We were able to get him seen quickly and her help made, what could’ve been, a stressful situation much easier. There’s nowhere else we’d stay if we find ourselves in beautiful Colmar again.

A wonderful apartment right in the heart of the historic city. Everything was a short walk away. The train station is only a 12 minute walk away. Very spacious apartment That’s well equipped. The owner/property manager was very helpful and great at communication. She replied quickly to all my questions prior to arrival. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

My husband and I loved our little home for our time in Colmar. The apartment is extremely spacious, more than enough for 4 people, comfortable for up to 6. The kitchen, bedroom, and bathrooms were clean, larger than average in Europe, and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The location is excellent, steps from everything, yet not right on top of the tourist areas. It was quiet at night, enough to open the windows for a nice breeze. Within a half block of the church square, there was a lot of places to eat or get anything we needed. Being so close to the church, you do hear the church bells, from 6 am to 10 pm for the on-the-hour loud peals, with some smaller chimes in the night. We normally sleep with earplugs anyway, so this wasn’t an issue, but anyone trying to get to bed before 10 pm will be woken up by the 10 pm bells. Not a deal breaker, but something you should be aware of going in. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, based on the amazing location and generous space. Charlotte was a wonderful hostess. She was very responsive and helpful, and everything about the check-in and check-out process very well explained and clear. Thank you for a wonderful home away from home experience!

Sehr schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Es war alles vorhanden. Die Vermietern ist sehr nett und sympathisch. Der von ihr empfohlene Parkplatz war nur einige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist top, man ist sofort mitten im Geschehen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß auch gut zu erreichen. Colmar ist wirklich sehenswert und sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der See mit dem dazugehörigen Sandstrand ist schön angelegt und sehr sauber. Wir haben keinerlei negative Erfahrungen gemacht.

We really enjoyed our stay in Colmar. The apartment was beautiful and very well maintained. In addition, it is in the center of the town and very convenient to almost everything. Excellent communication with the owner. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in Colmar, France.

Grand appartement idéalement situé au centre de la vieille ville. Instructions d'arrivée trÚs précises, faciles à suivre. Appartement propre, bien équipé. Literie confortable. Pas de place de parking mais grùce aux bons conseils de la propriétaires, facile de trouver une place à bon prix. Le seul bémol sont les cloches de la cathédrale la nuit. Sinon, tout était parfait.

VRBO description and pictures are accurate. We can’t say enough positive things about our stay and experience. The location is in the perfect center city location surrounded by and close walking distance to restaurants, sights, shops and Colmar charm. Charlotte’s communication and attention to detail were excellent. The apartment exceeded expectations being beautifully furnished and fully stocked with more items than needed. If you want the Colmar city center experience close to everything, look no further.

Es war ein rundum toller Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, klimatisiert, zentral aber dennoch ruhig gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Charlotte (Vermieterin) hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns gute Tipps fĂŒr AktivitĂ€ten mit unserer 5jĂ€hrigen Tochter gegeben.

Nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour sous la protection de la cathĂ©drale St Martin, dans le cƓur historique de Colmar. L'appartement est vaste, Ă©quipĂ©, meublĂ© et dĂ©corĂ© avec goĂ»t. Nous avons cuisinĂ©, super bien dormi et pris du bon temps.Tout fonctionne bien, la literie est parfaite, le double vitrage trĂšs efficace. Charlotte qui habite en dessous est prevenante et rend volontiers service. Nous Ă©tions donc "comme Ă  la maison" pour ce jour de l'An pas comme les autres. Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© de dĂ©charger les bagages en arrĂȘt minute dans la rue piĂ©tonne en bas de la maison avant d'aller nous garer en pĂ©riphĂ©rie du centre ville. Je remercie les propriĂ©taires de leur accueil de qualitĂ©.

Bright ,airy and large apartment even in winter-very centrally located in historic part of town- about 20 minute walk from train station. Well equipped kitchen- washer dryer-dishwasher- very quiet area with room for 2 couples or a family. Would definitely stay again. Charlotte was very good as property manager. Only downside is that it is on 3rd floor with 44 circular steps to climb. Not for mobility challenged.

The location was perfect. Steps to the heart of historic Colmar sites. The host Charlotte was extremely helpful with arrival logistics and her instructions were easy to follow and made it all very easy. The apartment is comfortable and has a great ambience, with a mix of contemporary and traditional furnishings. We would go back just for the comfort and enjoyment of the apartment alone!

If you’re looking for an ultra centrally located, very well equipped apartment at a reasonable price (note I didn’t say cheap - but the price was good value for the market), you won’t do better. The entrance is off a small courtyard off a main street, which gives it a quieter feel. The furnishings are first rate. We stayed with our two teenage sons who appreciated the full length beds (they are 185-190cm / over 6ft tall). It was cool the week we were there, but it can get hot in Colmar, especially on the top floor where the apartment is located, so the two portable a/c units are good insurance for comfort. Having a washing machine was also helpful. There is a Monoprix supermarket close by; Charlotte showed us the way through the winding streets. Some things to keep in mind: the central location in the mostly pedestrian center means you have to park some distance away. There is a nice underground garage about a 3 min walk away that’s free for the first hour, but it would be expensive to leave the car there for a longer time. There is a free lot available, but it’s a 10-15 min walk away. We came home late one night and found street parking nearby, which was free until 9:00am, but finding a space during the day would involve no small amount of luck. Also, the flat is up two long flights of stairs - no problem unless you have reduced mobility. Finally, being next to the cathedral means hearing the bells, which ring the quarter hour even through the night. Charlotte and family were very friendly, gave excellent directions on how to find the flat, and offered pointers on how to find things in town. We recommend the flat whole heartedly, especially for a family, and would stay there again.

This apartment was perfect for our family of 4; 2 comfortable bedrooms, all the modern conveniences in kitchen and 2 baths, very spacious and light, thoughtfully decorated, spotlessly clean, outstanding location in the center of Colmar centre ville. Outstanding value. Only a few blocks to a Monoprix with anything you might need. The washer/dryer combo works great and we made good use of it. Charlotte was a kind and caring hostess; communication was excellent. We hope to stay here again someday!
