“Avoid this place like the plague !!! The only good things about this hotel is the breakfast and the views of the lagoon. I booked this place because of the raving reviews and scenic views, but once you arrive you quickly figure out that the reviews are clearly fake. Cleaning is seriously crappy, me and partner were met with piss stained sheets, piss stained toilet seat, Hair and gunk everywhere you looked. The windows looking out to the lagoon was so dirty you needed to be outside, to at all...

“The room I reserved was very spacious and roomy. Are room was cleaned every day by the maids. It was left spotless for us plus enough towels and beach towels we had for every day use. The staff were amazing. They were very nice and attentive to all of us. We were a total of 5 guest. But the view of this boutique was breath taking. ”

“Fantastiskt ställe vid lagunen. Lugnt och väldigt vackert. Ligger lite avsides, så bil behövs för att kunna ta sig in till Bacalar. Restaurangen var bra och mysig, en del mygg (inte som märks, men vill man undvika myggbett rekommenderas myggmedel). Toppen att det ingick SUP och kajak. ”

“Me and my love had the most amazing stay at Puerta Del Cielo, the staff was incredibly service minded and tended to all of our needs. The food was simply amazing and we really just wanted to try it all. The price for the hotel and food was nothing compared to what you received. Everything about this place was outstanding and I cannot recommend it enough!! Simply the best expletive both me and my love has had in a while. Please go there and be generous with your tip! ”

“Blue Palm är verkligen en liten oas i Bacalar! När man kommer in genom grindarna ser man en härlig innergård med en slingrande pool och en massa solstolar där vi spenderade många timmar. Personalen var alla jättetrevliga och servicen var långt över förväntan. Varje morgon går ägaren runt och hälsar nya gäster välkomna, och tipsar om vad Bacalar har att erbjuda. Vi hade långa och trevliga konversationer varje morgon. Maten var fantastisk och alla våra vänner som var med på resan samlades på Blue...

“Room was clean and well-maintained. It had an airconditioner and 2 comfortable beds. It's in a beautiful, tranquil place in front of the lagoon. You can use the kayaks, canoe and paddleboard. Breakfast is provided and is freshly made when seated. It's a mexican breakfast and it's satisfying before starting the day.”
