“Long time traveler here, this is the BEST place to stay if you are in Mancos area or visiting Mesa verde NP. The home is so clean and the hosts are the nicest people you will ever meet. Also, their breakfast is absolutely delicious and the conversations around the breakfast table were just as lovely! I would give them 15 out of 10 if I could. Highly recommended!”

“Motel itself is old, outdated but room was clean so it was ok to stay for 1-2 nights. The floor was leaning in a little bit so kind of weird to walk on it, no common area either. It was a convenient location since we came there to hike. Note: you get a code from the owner at 11am or after on your day check in so make sure you will have access to your emails!”

“We stayed for two nights. The first night there we had farm fresh eggs, a pear syrup and a package of pancake mix and granola in the fridge for our breakfast in the morning. That day we went and did some other activities and didn't get back until that night. When we got back, we didn't have a second breakfast waiting for us in the fridge for the next day. We left the following morning and found some place for breakfast. Everything was great except for that little piece, but it turned out fine....

“Host was very welcoming. Nice cheaper option. My husband was weary at first about staying in a room in someone’s house essentially but we were out to hike before breakfast no issues. He said he liked it there. You can watch the hummingbirds at the feeder and sit out by the patio. Every room was full but we heard no noises. Host chatted with us for a few minutes upon arrival. She also has a nice dog. She offers breakfast in the morning which would have been nice if we didn’t wanna be up so early”

“A lodge that shows its age but room was clean, the water and cooling worked well, refrigerator and microwave worked well, and beds were super comfortable. Slept great. To the north Salida is about 11 miles. South are a couple other food locations, i.e. Dusty's Roadhouse.”
