“Couldn’t be happier with stay, not far at all from Durango. Went all the way down New Mexico and back up, paid expensive rates for rooms not comparable to this. We loved it and we don’t gamble, just love the resort! AND so many things to look at and learn about the Ute Tribe ❤️”
“Overall, the hotel was nice, clean and very close to the train. The room was very nice. However the bathrooms are very small. The breakfast was good and they had delicious popcorn and cookies in the afternoon. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Fantastic help by the girl in the reception with planning our road trip going west from Durango. She spent a lot of time (when no other customers needed help) coming with advices on how to visit Grand Canyon, come up with more recommendations and plan our trip time wise. Very charming hotel. Simple but clean and nice rooms.”
“The host was unfriendly and unwelcoming. We arrived at 9:30pm and were in communication about our arrival time, but when we arrived the host said she had to go to work early in the morning and made us feel bad for arriving at that time of night.
They charged a $25 pet fee for our dog, which normally would be completely fine and understandable, and it was listed in the booking. However, the host’s dog (a very large German Shepherd) jumped on me, urinated on my car, and was off leash in the front...
