Awesome
Couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The space was absolutely perfect for our large family, and the owners couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Phenomenal kitchen space (love the island!). Can’t wait to stay here again!

Great space for large groups!
I used this as a place to get ready for my wedding as well as a few people stayed here over that wedding weekend. The living area is large and open! Enough bedrooms to accommodate a variety of different groups. Would recommend this place and hosts!

Lovely Stay
We were in town for a family wedding and needed a place for 4 adults and 6 children (ages ranging from 1 to 7) to have as a home base as all the kids and 2 of the adults were in the wedding. This property was perfect. The pictures don’t do it justice - it is much bigger than we anticipated which made it perfect as the kids (all cousins) needed some space from one another. The kitchen was large and we only wish we had gotten to make meals there as they had everything we would need. Our kids loved the hot cocoa station and we loved the coffee bar! The fire pit was great for the adults to relax at after the kids were asleep. There is a noise awareness device that I was a bit nervous about with 6 kids but we didn’t set it off once! The personal touches throughout the house (welcome basket, hair ties in the bathroom), the communication from Erika and Casey, the comfort of the mattresses in every room and the overall care that went into this property made our stay absolutely amazing! Highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in the area.

Wonderful Family Stay
We stayed for a weekend ski trip at Berkshire East with 2 families and had a great time. The house is beautifully renovated inside and was perfect for our group with everything we needed for adults and kids (ages ranging 1-8). We had a minor issue due to crazy weather and Casey was immediately responsive and beyond accommodating. We’ve already been talking about coming back for another stay.

Rustic Charm
We rented this beautiful rustic home as a retreat as our son was getting married near by. This home is very cozy, spacious and perfect for all ages! If we ever need to stay in the area again; we will be booking here 100%.

Very nice home
Erika and Casey were very quick to respond to questions prior to checking in. The home was clean and beautifully decorated, very inviting! The listing said the property was air conditioned, which was true in the sense that there was one window unit downstairs and one upstairs, but none of the bedrooms were air conditioned, which was difficult in August. Overall a wonderful stay.

Family Reunion
Everything was great: reservations, communication, property. The property housed our family of 8 beautifully with its 5 bedrooms, large public areas plus the outdoor space. It was especially well prepared for our infant grandson.

Escape from pandemic in the city
My family and I have had crazy year, worse than 2020. We needed a place to run away and escape from busy life in a big city, Colrain was perfect. We baked and walked the woods and played games. It might sound boring to those tired of pandemic lock down but as a nurse it was just what I needed.

Great place to spend quality time with friends
I came to Colrain with a group of friends for a weekend centered around a raft trip on the Deerfield River. We thoroughly enjoyed the open floor plan and interior design of the downstairs area. It's also a well equipped place with a nice gas grill. We were a bit surprised to see that NoiseAware devices had been installed - likely with the best of intentions of preventing large parties. While these did not change our plans, we would recommend that the owners make their presence known in the description of the property. Overall, everyone in my group liked the place quite a bit, especially in the interior.

Beautiful and unique home
We did a quick get away with two families (4 adults and 4 kids). The house was so fun. The kids loved exploring, playing hide and seek, air hockey, board games. Adults loved hanging out in the spacious kitchen and living area and sitting on the deck with a cocktail (comfortable porch but not a good view). Plenty of room for everyone to have their own bed. Very clean and beautifully decorated house. Bathrooms were very clean and nice. Our only negative feedback is the location. It is across the street from a water treatment facility so not a great view or smell. We had hoped to do a ziplining or mountain coaster activity but they were closed until May 1 (our fault for not checking sooner). But we pivoted and instead enjoyed a family hike up to the fire tower and a stroll downtown where there are a few shops. The main street and bridge of flowers and potholes landscape are all worth checking out. Overall we had a great time, the house is great and the owners are very accommodating and easy to reach.

Beautiful and super clean house!
We enjoyed a lot the stay at the house. It had everything you need for your comfort. The communication with Casey was always very easy and quick. I have to say this is the first time I didn't have to take my allergies medication because of the dust, the house was super clean! Kids had so much fun with toys and books. We will back for sure!

Great Stay
Overall the home was super cute and clean and the beds were comfortable. Casey and Erika were quick to getting back to me whenever I messaged them. The only thing that was slightly off putting is the noise machine and if we reached a certain level we were notified to quiet down by Casey and Erika which made me feel anxious about anyone even talking too loud or that we were being watched. But it's a great stay and only 7 minutes away if people are going white water rafting at crab apple and 25 minutes away if anyone loves yankee candle village!

House was perfect for us
This house was perfect for us! It fit us so well with the queen sized beds and the bunk beds. We go tubing on the Deerfield river and this house was only 20 minutes away (we have traveled as much as 45 minutes because we couldn’t find a house to rent). Everything was so clean and cute. Beware there is little to no service so save the info they send you to access the house ahead of time. I was fortunate he was there mowing the lawn and let me in!

Comfortable and quiet
Super cute property in a nicely renovated antique home. So much thought has been put into this place and there’s very little “want”. The only thing to remember to bring is some soap for the shower. Also, totally understandable and unavoidable for the area is the complete lack of cell service, but the WiFi is good enough to get on with.

Family getaway
We had one night to visit with family visiting from out of state. This property was half way between their other family and ours. We were able to work with Casey about using her wonderful property and pulled together a quick reunion. Casey and Erica are working hard to have a beautiful home! The work done so far is charming and looks like it was done for a magazine shoot!

Great big old house
The outside is nondescript and the inside is still in need of some finish work, but the house is recently renovated and great for a large group or family. There is an industrial building across from the house and there is no real town, but we walked around the area and came across a farm with overly friendly cows and plenty of wildlife including several fawns. It is a very short drive to Shelburne Falls and close to Berkshire East and most whitewater rafting. The good quality kitchenware (especially pans) is a rarity in this price range. The gas fire pit was convenient. The air hockey table was fun. The countertop is laminated oak so you do need to be careful with it and the Internet access is satellite so it is limited. Response from the owners was speedy. Overall, our experience was great and the property is an excellent value.

What a great place, close to double edge and Shelburne Falls. This place was wonderful. It was clean. Everything was well organized. Bedrooms were nice sized and the house was very quiet. Having two bathrooms and two showers was wonderful for getting out on time in the morning. All the towels are wonderful and soft.

Clean, fun, AMAZING
Great place to stay! We went for a bachelorette party and had so much fun. I would recommend staying here if you’re going to do whitewater rafting at crab apple it was only a 5 minute drive! Overall stay was great only problem we had were ants, there were small ants all over the island but that seemed to be the only place where the ants were.

Golf outing or college graduation
The house was very clean and newly renovated. The owners we incredibly easy to work with. Just be very careful pulling into the driveway because it is very narrow on both sides with concrete walls. I have a truck and it was a tight squeeze but it can be done. Great place to have a few friends for a golf outing and since it’s near UMASS Amherst would be great place to stay for graduation. Make sure you bring fans because there is only a window air conditioner on the first floor. I would absolutely stay here again, with how clean and easy everything was. Thank you, Casey and Erika

Benjamin and his party were great guests and would love to have them back anytime! Our second air conditioner is in now and we're just waiting on the excavator for the driveway. It is definitely something we wish to work on. We're tying up all the loose ends from the renovation so our guests can have the best stay possible! Casey and Erika
