Silvertip Acres

We invite you to stay in our 1 bedroom apartment nestled in a country setting and conveniently located near Glacier National Park in the beautiful Flathead Valley. This lower level unit is located on 5 quiet acres with stunning mountain views. There is plenty of parking and shared outdoor space. We are located 5 minutes from the quaint town of Columbia Falls, 15 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from GNP, 20 minutes to Whitefish and Kalispell and 25 minutes to Bigfork and Flathead Lake.

+The Space+

Silvertip Acres provides comfortable and spacious amenities for a group of 4 or less. The space is light and bright. The bedroom offers both a dresser as well as hanging clothing space. In addition to the 1 bedroom with queen bed we also have a memory foam hide a bed couch in the living room.

There is a small sitting area with table outside the entrance. Renters are encouraged to utilize the lawn for yard games, eating or lounging.

We reside on the property above the this unit and like any lower level unit you will here our day to day movements but we are respectful of our quiet hours and ask renters to be the same.

We live on 5 acres with approximately 2 acres of landscaped yard. We reside in the upper home but we welcome you to spread out and use the outdoor space. Though we have a very safe property for kids we ask that you look around and assess the area and create groundrules that you trust with your kids. We ask that you stay off the main level deck as that would be included in our own space.

+Other things to note+

Your hosts are Dave and Beth Windauer. We have three grown children. We have owned and manufactured the world renowned Schafer Silvertip Bows (archery business) from our shop in our detached garage for over 30 years. Dave is a true craftsman and you are welcome to pop in and check out his work. We love our home, we really enjoy entertaining and look forward to having you as our next guests!
