House was perfect for our needs, we spent very little time there as we spent most of our time on the water, but the living room allowed all of us to sit together and hangout before going to bed.

Quaint home with everything you could need. Our family of 8 plus our dog thoroughly enjoyed our week, swimming, kayaking, fishing, and overall relaxing. We planned our days out to hit everything we wanted to do as it is about 45 minutes to some of the main attractions. You are pretty secluded which was perfect for us.

We were 5 guys on a fishing trip and we found the place clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for cooking a few meals, indoors and outdoors on the grill! The beds were comfortable and everything worked like it should! All around great experience and the on property boat ramp was a welcome bonus!

We had a wonderful stay! The property setting is really beautiful with the sunsets, easy access to the water, and a lovely swing to sit and watch the water. It was nice to sit outside and have coffee in the morning. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and exploring the area, including the Pocosin Lake National Wildlife Refuge. We drove out about 40 mins to the Pungo Unit of the refuge and saw a few bears! The house itself is comfortable and well-stocked for enjoying meals at home. We did try The Depot and enjoyed their subs and pizza. There is a Food Lion about 10 minutes away as well. A great place to sit back, relax and enjoy!

It was good place to be rested and enjoy activities: swimming and Kayaking infront of house.

Our family stayed for 2 night and had a lots of fun activities: Swimming, Kayaking, and BBQ party while watching sunset view.

Our stay at the Cypress and Spanish moss retreat was great. The home was an excellent location for a family retreat of fishing, relaxing, cooking, and fellowshipping. We had no problems and Karen was an excellent host with quick responses to any questions we had. The family had a wonderful time.

Place was perfect to escape and be present. We fished, had cookouts and campfires. It was the best!
