The property is extreamly old and out dated. paint scratched on all doors, day light around entry door and a 1/2" gap at th bottom. Was to be a smook free room, but still smelled of smoke. In the photo it showed 2 chairs, one at the desk and a chair beside the bed. there were none and when inquired the desk said there were none to be gotton. The toilet may have been new but was not secured to the floor properly. I'll never stay at a Red Roof ever again and I'd recommend you taking them off your listing.

This property is disgusting. Cigarette burns and stains on the dresser and sheets and bedding. This was supposed to be a non smoking room and was obviously smoked in. I left with my clothing smelling of cigarette smoke it was so bad. The first room they put us in was already occupied, thank god they had the deadbolt on because otherwise I probably would’ve had their dog chasing after me. The second room had a hole in the window covered by cardboard. Smelled like smoke. Shower was so dirty I didn’t even feel comfortable using it. Floor bubbling up and sticky, didn’t even take my socks off. No TV remote. Doors had to be forced open because they were so stuck. I’m honestly surprised I didn’t see any bugs. I understand that this isn’t meant to be a vacation destination, but we just needed somewhere to sleep overnight for a few hours on a roadtrip so we figured it would be simple and at least clean. It was 4am when we arrived and I couldn’t even fight the hotel staff anymore to try and get a better room but I have a feeling all the rooms are just as bad. (And this was supposed to be their “deluxe room”) Next time I’ll just spend the extra money to stay at a nicer brand hotel. If you’re looking for somewhere to do drugs like the people walking around outside then this is the place for you. But if you want a nice, clean, simple stay where you might feel somewhat safe and comfortable, look elsewhere and spend the extra 50 bucks to go to a larger and more reputable brand.

No bugs
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. At dark the area outside was a little sketchy had some guy walk up and bum cigarettes and one guy was in the dumpster but I didn’t feel unsafe I had my daughter, grandson, sister and 3 nieces with me and never felt unsafe. Overall I would stay again if I needed to. Very convenient to stores and eating places. Also very close to Fort Jackson that was the main reason I was there to watch my son graduate bootcamp… No Bugs so super plus

Unpleasant experience
Room was not thoroughly cleaned. No Tv remote, room phone was not connected to make call to front desk. Went to front desk and no one was available nor picked up phone when i called, twice. Had a very unpleasant experience.

Hotel was nothing like the picture on their website. Ridiculously small room, of course, roaches. Peel and stick tiles on the floor, that were peeled up, musty, moldy, bed was atrocious. Holes in the walls/doors. The area around the hotel was riddled with drugs and it was sketchy. I would never in a million years go back there.

Dirty, Filthy, Mold and Bugs
We were welcome by nice lady but that was only good thing about this motel, sheets were dirty followed by dirty towels and filthy pillow. Also not to forgot fridge and nonworking tv, mildew smell from beds as if dirty sheets were not bed enough, little to NO WIFI. We did found a bug but first we assume its because hot summer in south but introduce with more when it rain later that evening.

Check in was ok room was old was not that clean once the ac was turned on cockroaches started coming out all across the room. Look like prostitution is at this hotel and drug dealers too while trying to get a refund girls with basically no clothes kept walking in and out or around the office

The bed was way past it’s prime you could feel the springs. I found someone’s shaving cap on the shower. Someone’s car was broke into right in front of me. The attendant was beyond rude and unprofessional

We stop here while passing through for a really quick sleep only was there about 8 hours(thank goodness) the bathroom there was mold all behind the toilet and my wife said she felt like it was gonna collapse when she sat down. The ceiling in the sleeping area was falling down this room overall was in bad need of repair. We will not be staying here again

This motel has a good location, right off the interstate, and the room was clean and spacious. However, the bed was old and lumpy, and the room was hot! We thought that was because we were in South Carolina. We turned on the AC, but it was very loud and rattled too much for us to sleep. The AC unit also said it provided heat, so we didn't think about there being another heat source, until the next day when we checked out and I mentioned that it was hot in our room. The clerk said, "Oh, the heat must have been on in your room," and she and another clerk there laughed. It turned out that there was another heating source. It must have been set at 80 degrees!
