Yes, we have renovated kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Most Airbnb's do. The difference with us is we want excellence in service and communication. When you inquire, you will speak with us, the owners of the property. We will be attentive to your needs, and aim to give you a 5 star stay every time. Excellent location-walkable to Grandview Ave/bars/restaurants/shops, close to Upper Arlington, OSU & downtown. 7 minutes from The Shoe/Schott/Blue Jackets. Several medical centers nearby.
The space
This is an attractive red brick building built in the 1940's that has been completely renovated. There are four one story flats/apartments in the building. There are original hardwood floors that have been refinished. The bathroom has new sink, new white subway tile, new fixtures. There are new light fixtures and chandeliers throughout. There's a new kitchen with beautiful new oak countertops, new stainless appliances, and a beautiful vintage looking tile backsplash. Laundry facilities in basement. Nice backyard for pets. Clean, bright, sunny and spacious unit!

Guests have full private access to their apartment. There is a shared building entry door and hallway, and all exterior property is shared with neighbors. There are shared laundry facilities in the basement. Your unit has individual access to its own printer!

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Encircling the top of the tower are 24 columns with gargoyle-like figures which are restorations of fossil animals.

Great Location in Columbus, Ohio

We appreciate having a comfortable apartment for our stay . We only recently relocated away from Columbus and Grandview- Upper Arlington we’re our neighborhoods, so the location was ideal. Unfortunately, we did not find the apartment to be as clean as we would expect. Specifically, the bathroom floor wasn’t clean and I cleaned pet fur off of the sofa. Other misses were the lack of washcloths and dish towels. We also would have appreciated a few more dishes and glasses. We have had a short term rental and understand the challenges of quick turn around and supplies that go missing. We also found a package of chicken in the fridge that was left behind. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows need to be replaced. Despite those minor misses ( except the cleaning, that’s a biggie), we would rent this apartment again if we are welcome.

Very Clean, as advertised. Host was great in being able to contact him as we got there late and when it was dark. I would just say in the dark, its hard to see what building it is. Besides that, no complaints.

Overall, I liked the property. I didnt know the hot tub was a shared amenity. Also, its very easy to hear the neighbors, especially doors opening and shutting throughout the night. The bed was very comfortable.

Terrific apartment for two

This was the perfect spot for my wife and I to stay while visiting our son. Very convenient location, backyard was ideal for the dogs, great neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.

Unique and comfortable

Lovely neighborhood, unique decor, and provided all that we needed. We would stay here again! The only possible downside is that we could hear a lot of activity upstairs, but it was not a problem for us. Mark (the host) was attentive to our questions and our needs. :)

Wonderful stay

Gem of a find! Safe neighborhood, impeccably clean and prompt communication from the Owner. Plenty of cooking utensils and pans were available to prepare a nice breakfast. Pleasant stay, will stay at this Owners properties again.
