Loved our room! The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing! Only issue with our visit was the light in the shower would turn on and off. Wonderful setting, very peaceful!

The cabin was amazing, it was peaceful and the sunsets were amazing! I would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway! The owners were great, even when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the cabin and they had to come home to get us the extra key! 10/10

Rest stop on way to backcountry camping
Only there for one night, but thoroughly enjoyed a great blend of comfort, luxury, cleanliness, and raw, untouched nature. Peaceful and beautiful.

Perfect spot for quiet and relaxation
We had an incredible stay. We spent one night here on our way to Glacier, and Jan and her husband were lovely hosts. The property was clean and well-maintained, very comfortable. The scenery was gorgeous. If you’re looking for something quiet and closer to nature, this is perfect.

What a nice surprise
We loved our stay, and wouldn’t mind staying longer to enjoy the area. Comfy room and bed, nice shower. Nice hospitality. We come through the area regularly, and stay in the nearby bigger city hotels. This was a great change of pace.

Very nice location but far from town and restaurants. The shower smelled like sulfur. Place was very comfortable and clean. 2 mile gravel road to get into the place which stank on a motorcycle. Wish we would of known that ahead if time likely would not have stayed there if we knew.

I'm very thankful you mentioned the gravel road. I think some miss this information in some booking sites. It is a good thing for guests to be aware of this.

The setting by the river is beautiful and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable. The bedding, furniture and decorations are very nice. The hosts are very friendly, hospitable and helpful.

I have not enough good things to say about this experience. I wish I had time to just sit outside and listen to the birds and the river (I was here for work). The room was amazing and comfortable and adorable! And the hosts are amazing humans! I come this way every year and will be back!

This is a remarkable place. Comfortable bed, clean room, big bathroom, very nicely furnished, porch with a view of the Yellowstone River, short walk to a quiet viewing spot by the River, beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, very well maintained. The best place we have stayed at on this trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yellowstone River Lodge. The accommodations were new, clean, and very comfortable, with beautiful furnishings. The room was well-designed with large windows overlooking the forest. Although we live near large trees surrounding a wetland, we heard more birds singing here than we have ever heard at one time. It was also soothing to see and hear the rushing river from our room. We would love to stay here again.

110% recommend if you're in the area to stay.
Dan & Jan are amazing hosts. The cabin was beautiful. The wife loved it. The peacefulness of it facing the Yellowstone River was the best. Saw eagles on the way to the cabin, and had a special little visitor, a swallow, on the front porch the day we left.

The rooms are excellent. The atmosphere is great. The rooms are extremely nice and comfortable. The rooms are close to the river which allows you to enjoy the river flowing by. They also have a corn hole game, picnoc table, lights at night, and a firepit to enjoy! The owners are very friendly and easy to deal with! Definitely would stay again!

In case you are thinking of booking here -- think twice. I booked a room via Expedia and arrived @ 7PM after a long day's drive to find nobody to greet me. I phoned the hosts only to be told that they would not honor the booking -- not enough time was given them or some mumbo jumbo. Excuses excuses. Maybe the dog ate my reservation? I should emphasize that this was a verified Expedia reservation. My pleading for a room fell on deaf ears and I was left to consider sleeping in my car. So any reservation you make here should be taken with a grain of salt -- it depends entirely on the whims of the feckless owners. In retrospect, the glowing reviews here and on Expedia may have been engineered.

Concert Stay
What a great find! We stayed after a concert in Bozeman as there were no rooms available in Bozeman. Quiet beautiful location, great view of the river, spacious up-to-date room, comfortable bed, and very friendly owners. Other than the fact that the lodge is a little out of the way as far as things to do (if you need some, we didn't), it's perfect! It would make a great weekend getaway spot if a person just wanted to be away and relax doing not much at all. My only complaint, and it's more with hotels.com and not the actual accommodations, is that the listing led us to believe that we were booking a cabin with a kitchen. We brought breakfast food with us thinking we'd have somewhere to prepare it, and then didn't when our booking turned out to be a "guest room" and not a cabin. Luckily we had some things we could eat without cooking. The room did have a fridge and microwave which was helpful. Again, a listing issue not a property issue! The property itself was fantastic.

From the moment the door opened to let us enter, we felt like family. The property is beautiful and our room was amazing. The amenities provided were very thought out and useful. We loved being able to see and hear the river so close. Loved our little deck. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing!

Scenic location within feet of the Yellowstone River-room beautifully equipped including wonderfully soft mattress. No Wi-Fi though and very limited tv channels. Directions to the location need to be modified with the street names as google maps doesn't recognize an old highway address.
