âWorst hotel ever. Noisy, very small rooms. All lights are run by a central ( meaning You cant decide which light should be turned on. You will wake up in the middle of the night due to the central switchingbon the lights suddenly. Happened several times evey night. Stayed three nights anf then moved to another hotel. When there is wind and rain there is a structural problem that the hotel is aware of that make enormous noise.

âI found the Hilton Garden Inn to be a modern, bright and clean hotel, with friendly staff with good amenities. My room was spacious and included a small but effective refrigerator and microwave and more.
I appreciated that there was nice flooring and no carpet in my room. It made the room feel even clearer and more modern.
The only minor annoyance was that the bathroom door would not stay open. It is not that I wanted to door open all the time, but when I was washing up and really wanted to...
âStaff were very helpful and friendly. It was convenient having the kitchenette. I would have liked the living room area to be a bit brighter. A little frightened by the wildfires but out of the hotelâs control. â
âWe had an awesome time at Mallard Inn. The rooms are newly renovated and beautifully designed. The property is a historic building right next to Quidi Vidi Wharf. As the property just opened under new ownership when we visited, there were minor hickups (like eg. a missing bin in the room) which have been quickly resolved by the attentive and friendly stuff. Parking on site is limited and extended dinner options require a car to go into town.â
