“We have always enjoyed our stays at the Rodd Charlottetown. This time surpassed our expectations in many ways. First, the hotel was recently renovated, and the rooms and lobby are quite beautiful. Second, the staff continue to be second to none, polite, well mannered and friendly. Third, the building though historic has all the features we appreciate, windows that open, a lobby you can relax in and a front patio where you can have a pre-dinner refreshments while you wait for guests to arrive. “The hotel is old, as everything in Charlottetown is, but updated and very clean. We were very comfortable here for three nights. The beds were soft but didn’t give my back any problems. Breakfast was limited but quality. Also, it really was close to everything - very walkable.”

“The check in process was very smooth, there were two private bedrooms and a kitchen and small dining area. ACs and TVs in each room. Bed was decently comfortable, had free parking area. !0 mins from the port and downtown area. Breakfast had a huge variety from bread, bagels, apples, orange, oats, milk, fruit juices, boiled eggs, butter jam, cereals etc from 6:30 AM to 10 AM. It is possible to get a kitchen set ( dishes, cups etc) and electric kettle if requested at reception. I hghly recommend...

“The property is under renovation. We had no hot water for our stay. We were not given any compensation for the lack hot water and were unavle to shower.The trim in the bathroom was held up with packing tape. The place is in disaray and falling apart. I would not recommend staying here.”

“Very good service, hotel condition and amenities. Rooms are sound proof but the big road will make some noises into the rooms facing it. We asked for another room due ro sounds from the road and even got an upgrade. Big thanks to the personel that help us with this.”

“Property is old and unimpressive. TV remote didn’t work. Staff came to check it and got tv turned on but remote still wasn’t working properly. They didn’t seem too concerned by it. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.”

“Excellent stay !!! exactly as advertised, nice to have our own space. PS, no paper towel or dish sponge, but everything else included and awesome !! garbage changed daily and new towels offered upon request”
