“The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!”

“We enjoyed a lot our stay in Aine´s house. The house is confortable and spacious. The kitchen is big and convenient, close to the terrasse. The hot tub was appreciated at the end of the day. “We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!”

“The property is cozy and comfortable. We needed some special accommodations for our 82 year old mom with limited mobility this property was able to meet all of her needs. The Host is simply amazing! “Bei unserer Ankunft konnten wir das Haus zu erst ein wenig für uns erkunden, da Check In über die Schlüsselbox erfolgte. Was für uns unglaublich angenehm war. Jim, der „Verwalter“ vor Ort stellte sich später kurz vor. Sehr diskret, nicht aufdringlich und sehr freundlich. Das Haus begrüßte uns bereits wohlig warm vorgeheizt mit einem selbst gebackenen Kuchen. Vielen Dank hierfür :) Da wir über Weihnachten blieben, wurde sogar der Wohnbereich geschmückt. “Tremendous country location steeped in history. Peaceful and quiet with lots of outside things to do. Finola was a very gracious host, who provided a wealth of recommendations for things to do and see in the area. “Fantastisk beliggenhed. Ro og fred helt uden trafikstøj eller andre gener. Når man åbnede et vindue eller satte sig udenfor, var det eneste man hørte bølgeskvulp fra søen. Huset lå helt nede ved søen, for enden af en ca. 2 km lang Mark/Skovvej. Men der var kun 5 min. kørsel ind til den lille hyggelige by med gode spisesteder. Check In var nemt og hurtigt, og værtinden var sød og hjælpsom mht. hvad man skulle se i området. Værelset var lidt lydt om natten, når andre var på toilet, snorkede osv....

Great location, not very soundproof rooms
"We had a decent stay at Galmont. This review is based on a deluxe room with sea view. Good: - Close to train station and main streets. - Very friendly staff. - Spacious room with nice view. Could be better: - Soundproofing in rooms. We heard both TV noise and people talking from adjacent rooms. Noise from the road outside was also fairly audiable. Earplugs are highly recommended. - Draft from window, not very well sealed. - Quite slow and not very attentive service in the Coopers restaurant when we visited. Food was good though."

"Vi var beroende av bra uppkoppling, så valet blev ett större hotell, istället för B&B. WiFi var totalt oskyddat, så vårt val blev inte alls bra, med tanke på osäkerheten på nätet. Mycket dåligt faktiskt. Läget är otroligt deprimerande i ett nedlagt industriområde. Hotellet var mycket fräschare än omgivningarna. Att lämna Galaway från hotellet var superenkelt. "
