This Cabin was reassembled from 2 early to mid1800s cabins to form this lovely dogtrot style home. It is situated on a 250-acre cattle farm just outside of Cookeville Tn. A rustic home with modern amenities.

A Little Piece of Tennessee Heaven

Beautiful & Relaxing

The cabin was a perfect place for us and our older dog. Close enough to enjoy various attractions but secluded enough to unplug and relax. The place is beautiful!

Perfect Getaway

This is our second time staying at the cabin and it was just as cozy as the first time. Perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The owner is very nice and we loved spending Thanksgiving here. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Foxtrot Cabin. Lovely property on quiet and peaceful acreage. Perfect place to stay to explore waterfalls in the area. Close enough to Nashville for a quick day trip.

Very accommodating

The cabin was very clean and welcoming! Beautiful surroundings and was perfect for our dog. No neighbors and plenty of privacy. I have never stayed in a place so well stocked and it was nice to come back to after a long day of hiking. Thanks Mike for such a well maintained property!

Perfect Peaceful Place

Taking a trip to Tennessee to chase water falls and this cabin could not have been more perfect to stay at. All the amenities you need nestled in a quiet farm location. Definitely worth the visit for recharging your mind and body.

Weekend at the Dogtrot Cabin

We loved everything about the cabin! It's charming, very comfortable and beautiful inside. Its rural location means it's quite private and quiet. It is convenient to two (that we went to) state parks with gorgeous waterfalls and nice hiking. We also spent time in Cookeville (15 mins away) at the cute bookstore and several good restaurants. This was a perfect place for us!
