"The accommodation was great. The best feature was the large balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean. Everything inside the house was neat and tidy. Pleasingly there was not an over supply of nic knacks cluttering up the shelves. There was a good provision of basic supplies ."

"Property was kept neat and tidy only grievances was that the whirlpool hot tub that was advertised as being at the property was not there we didn’t hire the house because of the hot tub but thought what nice bonus security might need upgrading"

"The property has horses that was a huge attraction for my daughter. She talked to them for hours. The shed was nice and clean with great air conditioning and fans. A nice hot shower after big days spent at the beach was a hit too."

"Property was good. Lots of room. Furniture was a little dated but clean and comfortable beds . Budget accommodation that was reasonable. Suited our requirement. Lots of teenagers and a dog. Family fishing and beach trip. Don’t expect the ritz though and only one bathroom was difficult with a big family at times. Kitchen was clean and well equiped. Lots of room for two cars maybe more. No problems with bbq."

"Good size property for 6 adults and 1 infant. Plenty of parking and room for the dogs to run around. Not dog-proof fencing so if you have run-away dogs, you'll need to be careful. Quiet street, close to the river. Drinks on the balcony at sunset are lovely. The downside of our stay - the property really needs a bit of a revamp such as updating furniture (as some of it is run down and dodgy), crockery (chipped and mismatched), cutlery (old and mismatched) etc. Outside furniture and BBQ were full...

"Great location and views property could do with a makeover as it’s very dated but it was very cosy, taking linen was also a little tricky when you live so far away and a few maintenance issues that need fixing but other than that we have a lovely stay and great time with family."

"We were hosting my daughter and her closest friends for a weekend getaway. It is a great house with modern decor and loads of entertaining spaces and sleeps 14 -16. Lovely views and walking distance from river mouth, beach and general store. Clean and neat well maintained."

"We had a lovely short break at the hacienda with our two dogs. They adored exploring the garden and daily trips to the dog beach! The property is well situated to access the beach and lagoon, and also close to the supermarkets and various take away food options around. This was our second stay and I’m sure we will back, was a very relaxing few days. Thanks to your lovely host Pauline for allowing us to stay again 😊"
