“The Brookside Inn of Laurens is a wonderful find. The owner clearly cares deeply about making his guests feel welcome and well cared for. He makes fresh breakfast every morning, which are simple but excellent and he will work with you to accommodate special dietary needs within reason. The rooms are all color coordinated and he has updated electrical outlets to include some built in USB outlets. Small details like this can be found throughout the rooms and house. ”

“Staff was friendly, dietary options, bed was comfortable, water containers in room with comfotable lounger. Loved the power strip to accomodate my electronics. What can be improved is the parking for larger vehicles but a space was found for my husbands truck. Though the bathroom was tight, the room was spacious. Cooperstown is quiet but you feel relaxed and refreshed after your stay.”

“This accommodation worked great for us. Great location for a ride on the Erie Canal Trail. It isn’t a fancy place but has eating and antiques nearby. There is a working kitchen for those who want to cook or make coffee and a living area separate from bedroom. You will find a do it yourself bike shop area across the street in the mill across the street. “The cottage we stayed in was adorable with our own little porch. John was so welcoming. The food for breakfast looked amazing even though we didn’t have the chance to eat. They offer thoughtful touches like a s’mores set up for you if you want to sit by the fire pit and fresh cookies to take during the day. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast if you are in Cooperstown. ”
