“The room is a bit on the small side. The heating/cooling unit doesn't work properly so expect to be either too hot or too cold. No staff is around after 5 so if you need something you are on your own. To me the bed was comfortable as it is soft and I am a side sleeper. The pillows are on the flat side and need to be replaced. The shower head is also needing repair or replacing. Little details like this are important to truely make this place Bliss.”

“The room was relatively clean, could use a dusting, lots of old cobwebs in corners, and when moving a chair dirt and dead bugs on the floor and in corners, but it provided a cheap place to spend a night, check in was easy, and front desk was friendly.”

“Overall, disappointing. I chose a pricier place for a wedding visit, and this was a letdown. It was basically a glorified motel. The hairdryer was attached to the wall and very cheap. There was no iron in the room. The bedding is tired, and the bathroom needs to be updated. I could hear guests above and below us. It was basically a glorified motel. For $200 a night in Powell River, I expected more. There is no breakfast on site.”

“Kitchen was great. Had microwave, fridge freezer, hotplate, coffee maker and kettle. Even an air fryer. Had everything we needed. Place was clean and comfortable . I'd give the bed a top rating, slept really well. Although some aspects of the room was a little worn (floor/tub) I think the age of the property and price reflects this, so it wasn't something I would not have expected or was personally bothered by. “Had basically everything you could want in a kitchen, had some heating issues with one of the stove top burners and the fridge was "apartment sized which did lead to some space issues. Bed was comfortable. Nice shower. Nice tv. Outdoor decor was cool. Overall it was a great stay and would return.”
