“A good hotel, a bit off from 'downtown' St Joseph, but with a car everything is possible. Good wifi, decent breakfast. Loved the pancake machine! We also very much appreciated the washer&dryer onsite - very convenient. There is also a gym which my husband used, but I wanted to run outside (a bit hot). If only the city could fix a footpath/sidewalk from the hotel to the bridge (about 1/4 mile), access would have been perfect. The nice restaurant next door and the beautiful sunset over Lake...

“Unfortunate circumstances. I booked this hotel for my sister’s wedding, just 2 nights of mostly just somewhere to sleep and get ready and we couldn’t even do that. I had one hour to get ready for my sister’s rehearsal dinner and once you get past the bums wandering the parking lot, the room was an “oh that’s why they hang out here” moment. The pictures online look nice I was shocked, and clearly fooled. I felt bad only one man was running the entire hotel. This is where my frustration comes in:...

“Without question, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We checked into a room with a toilet that didn’t work: a problem the hotel already knew about before renting us the room. When we reported it, we were told to stick our hands inside the toilet and fix it ourselves. The next day it broke again, and another employee told us we could “just use the shower” since the toilet wasn’t working. Completely unacceptable. “We had planned to stay here just one night while passing by, but when we arrived we felt so uncomfortable that we actually looked up another hotel to stay at. Our stay at this hotel was not refundable, but despite this we decided to stay at another hotel because we did not feel safe staying at the red roof inn”

“It appeared the breakfast was short staffed. Not enough food or supplies were on hand. The gal seemed to be working hard but not enough support. Other Fairfield’s have done much better. Also I hope the guy that was sleeping in the breakfast area in the afternoon is ok.”

“Terrible experience. The lady at the front desk told us we could not get towels for the pool. She said they were for people who were checking in later that night, but the pool was closing in 10 mind. I have NEVER seen people handed towels as they check in. My daughter and I weren’t given anything when we checked in! She was rude and just didn’t want to work. There were people drinking at the indoor, no alcohol allowed pool, and they left their cups of white wine around the pool when they were...
