“We had a lovely time at Hope Lake Lodge. My issue was with Expedia! They booked us into a room that the lodge no longer had available. We ended up in a smaller room. The staff at the lodge told us they had been dealing with Expedia’s screw up all day long!”

“We never set foot in the place unfortunately. We got to the property after dark and it was unlit exterior
The door was not programmed as promised and we could not get in. The owner didn’t respond to our or the property management company’s many communications for two days so we had to stay at a run down hotel which was all we could get at 9:30 on a Friday night in the middle of nowhere
A week later the owner still hadn’t responded or apologized for our family’s considerable inconvenience...

“Stayed only for one night and arrived really late so we didn't see the surroundings. The hotel is very standard. In the morning we found out that we was looking at a dump with old cars and stuff. The included breakfast have to improve a lot to be worth staying for. Right across the street are a McDonalds which was our choice.”

We were the only car in the whole parking lot (on a saturday) I then noticed immediately at least five homeless people with carts hanging around in and out of rooms, talking loudly and behind us at the motel office the person who literally greeted us was recording us on his phone through the window. “I was very pleased with my stay at the Ithaca Hotel. The staff were very friendly, and my room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located downtown so you can easily walk to Moosewood, Ithaca Commons, the State Theater, etc. The only downside was that I had noisy, upstairs neighbors who kept me up late. The hotel gave me a free, late check out at 1:30 pm to compensate me. I would definitely stay here again. ”
