If you are looking for a clean, spacious, quiet, relaxing get-away your search should end here. We had a wonderful experience visiting, laughing and of coarse eating. Wildlife surrounded us and yet kept a distance so we could view and not disturb them. Sleeping accommodations were better than expected. Dave was very helpful and responsive. We are looking for reasons to return to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan so we can stay here again.

We had an absolutely incredible time here during the lead up to our wedding in September 2025. There was plenty of space for family that was staying with us, and the cabin was a perfect place to destress and connect with everyone before the big day. So many treasured memories.

The host was amazing! We got 12 inches of snow the night that we arrived. And as soon as he could get there he plowed us out! Come to find out he's a family friend:-) Dave and Mary are amazing hosts, the cabin is breathtaking! it's so beautiful! we so enjoyed it, every room was decorated beautifully and pots pans, I lutensils napkins tons of plates and glasses everything that you need! Thank you so much for an amazing stay God bless you

We had such a wonderful time at this cabins. The cabin was clean and had everything that we needed. The owners were kind and super helpful. The cabin was in a secluded area so we could walk around and enjoy the fall colors with no worries of neighbors. I would recommend bringing your own water to drink if you are not comfortable drinking from a well.

Wonderful winter weekend

Our second time visiting this cabin left us just as impressed as the first. There was plenty of room for our families of 4 and 5, with our pooch. Kids and adults alike greatly enjoyed playing outside in the woods.

Family get away

The property was very homey and offered plenty of space for outdoor activities. It is near lake Michigan which is convinient and the owners were very willing to help us with anything we needed.

Great place in the woods!

What a great place to get away from it all and just relax. Great place with plenty of room and wildlife outside. Only recommendation to other bookings, follow the directions to the place from the host, do not use GPS to get to the cabin. Thank you again for a great stay!

Cute cabin

This cute cabin is set in the middle of a very private wooded area. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. It is also close enough to town for quick trips. It is a little confusing finding the place but we'll worth the trip.

Amazing Vacation

The property was amazing. So clean and cozy. If was big enough for our large family and the grounds were amazing. The owner was nice enough to show us his quarry and drilled holes for us to ice fishing. It was amazing will be coming back.

Fantastic Family Vacation

This is a lovely, spacious, warm home with everything we needed. The property is secluded and yet easily accessible. We hiked, had campfires, watched meteor showers, and had a fabulous time. Highly recommend!
