Lovely property with lots of wildlife to observe. Easily and comfortably slept 10 adults. Owners were wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!

Perfect vacation rental for families! We loved the space with 3 generations! From grandparents, parents and 4 kiddos. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend with family. The cabin is clean and inviting. The grounds are beautiful with an abundance of wildlife. The hosts have thought of everything to make this stay relaxing. Would highly recommend and plan to return again!

We stayed her for a family reunion and it was the perfect mix of country charm but still close enough to town! We were able to enjoy the indoors and outdoors at the house and host a large gathering for all our family. We were grateful to find a house that fit us all so well. Thanks again!!

The cabin was everything and more than we could have wanted. It was very peaceful and secluded. A perfect retreat area for relaxing. The cabin was stocked with many additional items to make it welcoming and comfortable. Communication with the host was top notch. We had a great time and will definitely return.

If you are looking for a clean, spacious, quiet, relaxing get-away your search should end here. We had a wonderful experience visiting, laughing and of coarse eating. Wildlife surrounded us and yet kept a distance so we could view and not disturb them. Sleeping accommodations were better than expected. Dave was very helpful and responsive. We are looking for reasons to return to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan so we can stay here again.

Comfortable beds, large home, lots of space for large group, great amenities, very clean property, wonderful wrap around deck and grilling space. Great setting to watch deer and turkey out windows.

Fantastic secluded cabin, easy access to the fun things in the UP or just relaxing in the quiet. Hosts were fantastic as well easy process and communication.

End of season family getaway

Family had an awesome time in this secluded, quiet and roomy home. Enjoyed watching the wildlife and playing in the large yard.

We had a little trouble finding the home. I had talked with the owner on our way because I needed to have something delivered to the home. (They offered to have our delivery sent to them and they would bring it to us since the property is difficult to find). They gave us physical landmarks that helped very much! The home is AWESOME, tucked back in the woods and secluded. Plenty of sleeping space, room for fishing boats and our dog to run.It’s on well water so you might want to bring drinking water.We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it!!

The Lodge was even better than expected. Roomy and well stocked. Enjoyed walking in the woods and using the firepit. My dog enjoyed the freedom to run after his ball without being on a leash...while we were outside with her. Saw lots of deer. We played games at night and watched TV in the entertainment room. Dave and Mary were gracious hosts and even gave us places to see.If I have to add a suggestion to improve this fantastic place it would be to add a handrail in the bathtub...especially the main floor considering that is probably where the elderly (like me) would be staying. EVERYONE loved the Lodge.

We had an absolutely incredible time here during the lead up to our wedding in September 2025. There was plenty of space for family that was staying with us, and the cabin was a perfect place to destress and connect with everyone before the big day. So many treasured memories.
