True to its name, this home is A Dream Come True! You\'ll love what this home has to offer. From the private pool to the screened porch, this home is loaded with extras to keep you entertained during your beach vacation. WiFi is available for the occasional work related task, but the outdoor recreation areas will keep you coming back to Whalehead Beach year after year for some R&R! Ground Level: This level sports the rec room including a pool table, foosball table, TV/DVD, CD/Stereo, and kitchenette with a full size fridge and dishwasher. You\'ll also find a bedroom with a TV that shares a full bath with the rec room. Step outside, and you can take a dip in your own private pool. Mid Level: Here you will find 2 King main bedrooms, each with a TV. There is also a room that offers 2 Double beds, a TV, and a shared bath with another room sporting a DuoBunk and Trundle, and a TV. Top Level: The top level features the great room that offers a TV/DVD, CD/Stereo, and a gas fireplace. Just off the great room is the kitchen and dining area. The dining area seats 10, with 4 additional seats at the kitchen bar. Step up a bit and enjoy the ship\'s watch, or step outside to the large screened porch, the perfect place for those family seafood feasts! Rounding out this level is a half bath off the great room, a lovely King main bedroom, and a rooftop crow\'s nest deck for taking in the views! Amenities: Private unheated Pool, Hot Tub, 8 TV, 2 DVD, Pool Table, Foosball, Basketball Hoop, Volleyball Court, WiFi, Baby Items: High Chair & Pack\'n Play, Screened Porch, Porch Swing, Charcoal Park Grill, Gas Grill, Gas Fireplace, 2 Full Size Refrigerators, 2 Dishwashers. Beach Access: 300 Yards. THINGS TO KNOW

- For January and February bookings, please contact the property management company to ensure the hot tub is available. Active surveillance cameras are located inside & outside of the home and will be turned off during your stay. You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement. Fireplaces are available from November 1st through April 1st. Private Pool Dates: The private pool is open May 1st through October 15th. The private pool is unavailable outside of these dates.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
