Absolutely filthy
I have NEVER stayed/rented a vacation home that was so dirty and infested with so many bugs. I've been up and down the east coast and this is by far, the dirtiest, most disgusting and unclean place.
1. Food, crumbs and stickiness all over the stove, all kitchen appliances are disgustingly dirty.
2. Bugs in the kitchen cupboards, on top of tv stands, floors, smashed on the walls and ceilings.
3. Food and stains on silverware. (I had to wash them all before use)
4. Dishes in the dishwasher
5. Floors un-swepted/or mopped.
6. Dust all over the furniture. Headboards in bedrooms, were so dirty.
7. Bug spray left on the back deck.
8. Any cooking bowl, pot, pan had to be washed before using.
9. Stains on bedding.
10. Dirty windows and door tracks inside/outside filled with bugs.
11. The oven smoked due to the amount of food on the bottom.
12. Broken sliding glass door screen laying on upper deck.
13. Broken bar stools downstairs in rec room, just laying there on the floor.
14. Someone dirty boxers hanging in the trees.
15. Broken window blinds.
16. The amount of spiders around the property, in the house was scary.
I think that you get the point.
I shouldn't have had to spend my first day cleaning, but in order for me and my family to feel comfortable for the next week... it's what I had to do, especially in the kitchen.
You seriously need to rethink who you use for you cleaning company. Just completely awful.
I would like some kind of compensation for me having to do their job!!! We paid close to $4,000, I expect something in return!!!
I will never book with this company again. I should've known before hand from the previous bad reviews, but figured under new ownership, things haven't changed at all.
