  • Location, location, location: 'Time to Chill' is situated on a spacious lot in Whalehead Beach just a short walk or bike to beach, shopping, restaurants, & golf. This oceanside home is well-equipped, tastefully furnished, ideal for two families. The bathrooms have been recently updated.

    Outside, enjoy ocean breezes on the expanded deck, quiet moments in the gazebo, and lazy days by the 16'x32' saltwater pool. The large pool deck provides afternoon shade on those hot, sunny summer days. The surrounding landscaping ensures privacy around the pool area. 480 yards to the beach access.

We loved this place. Very clean, close to ice cream, brewery, and a few restaurants. Beach was about three blocks away.

This house is in a great location, close to two shopping centers, yet quiet and private. Also, it is in walking distance to the beach. The house had beach chairs, pool toys, a cart, and an outdoor shower. The well-maintained private pool was a highlight of our relaxing vacation. Inside, the house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen with counter seating, comfortable family room furniture, and the dining area had the ambiance of being at home. Also important to us is good shower pressure and toilets with a powerful flush. There were only two hiccups during the stay that may need attention: (1) we were given the incorrect wi-fi information via email; fortunately, we noticed the correct wi-fi information posted on the refrigerator, and (2) the pillows in one bedroom were too firm. In summary, we would stay here again and would recommend this place to others.

The porch was inviting and restful. The kitchen was completely stocked and the walk to the beach was short. We enjoyed the puzzles!

Would love to rent again, but increase of about 1k in rental price for 2023 is too much.

It gets a little tight in the kitchen if more than one person is trying to prep food at same time. A bit of a walk to the beach but not bad and super convenient to stores and restaurants. Quiet lot with lots of space and a really nice pool that is big with lots of deck space.

Quick walk to the beach and very close to stores and restaurants. Great updates with the furniture in the living room. Very comfortable. Awesome pool. One of the main reasons I choose this house each time. Well stocked kitchen. Bedrooms are comfortable and love the porches and all the updated chairs to sit on outside.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, I wouldn't rent this place again. I felt like the pictures really didn't capture what the place looked like. The house is smaller than expected (cramped with 8 of us), the bedrooms are all on the same floor in the same corner, the airflow down there is poor so it's incredibly quiet, and the master bedroom got very hot. Moreover, the beds were disrespectfully uncomfortable - I injured my shoulder from sleeping on the master king. The location of the rental was good, for sure. The exterior was fun enough, easy access to the beach. There's also a sick wheelbarrow for lugging items to and from the beach.

Its location was perfect for us - close to a small shopping area with great local coffee and bagels and mini golf! It was only a 5 min walk to the beach and the house has a sturdy great beach wagon, so hauling the chairs and umbrellas is not hard at all. The pool is perfect and you can even do laps in it! The house was very clean and had every practical item available - including an electric air pump which we very much appreciated. We would definitely come back to this house!

The kitchen was updated since we had stayed before and I thought it was good the first time we were there. This kitchen is perfect!! Everything that you need is there. I use to have to bring certain kitchen supplies with me but not when we go to Nutmeger. The location of the house is perfect for us. Easy walk to the beach but also so close to Food Lion and all the shops and restaurants. The pool is fantastic!! House was clean and well stocked with beach chairs and other out door supplies. Again one less thing to bring. I highly recommend this house. Our plan is every other year to stay here. My husband is pushing for us to do two weeks one year too. 😊. Thank you for a much needed vacation after this last crazy year!!

Spacious house, nice size bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, Close to the beach and shopping, the pool and deck are great. This was our 4th year renting this home and we are looking forward to next year. The only downside is we can’t bring our dogs, but otherwise is a great house!
