Avskildhet, lugn och avkoppling är lätt att hitta i detta mycket privata hem, Kaptain's Treasure. 500 meter tar dig till stranden eller till Carovas egen allmänna park. De lugna omgivningarna är bara grunden för den lugn du kommer att njuta av i Kaptain's Treasure. Lounge runt den enorma privata poolen eller i 6-personers badtunna medan du tittar på barnen plaskar i sin egen privata barnpool. Ta en picknick i uteserveringen eller flytta inomhus för en avledning i spelrummet med biljardbord, pentry med kylsk��p och mikrovågsugn samt bekväma sittplatser och TV. Varje rum anslutet till skålen och smarta tv-apparater i vardagsrummet, och två sovrum!

Sovnivån har fyra sovrum: två kungarum med privata badkar, och ytterligare två rum som delar ett badkar, ett med en drottningssäng och det andra med en duo-våningssäng och en dubbelsäng. När du går upp till den tredje nivån hittar du ytterligare ett kung sovrum och ett rymligt vardagsrum med halvt badrum.

Vardagsrummet / matsalen kommer att hålla den centrala publiken, men oroa dig inte om du vill ha en lugn plats att varva ner. Kaptain's Treasure har ett härligt solrum som ligger precis vid matplatsen för de obeskrivliga stunder av lugn och ro! Ta dig ett ögonblick för att njuta av att titta på hästar och titta på havet från alla nivåer i detta vackra hem.

Beautiful!!! Relaxing!!!!Me and my family loved this place.We saw wild horses about every day.The beach was just minutes away, easy for the kids to go to the beach. This house has plenty of room for a family, and they just loved the pool table.We relaxed in the spa and the kids swim in the pool.Laura, the property manager is absolutely wonderful.She is quick to respond and if something is wrong or breaks, she gets replacement or it gets fixed quick.It is recommended that you do have a four-wheel-drive. There is a reason for that..The 8 mile ride up the beach in the loose sand can be tricky without a four-wheel-drive.Only negative thing that I would say about getting to the property is in Duck,Check-in is usually on Saturday and there’s lots of properties so there’s lots of people trying to get to their condos and houses so just be prepared for that.But I would have to say this was our best family vacationWe loved Outer Banks..

Relaxing beach trip with 3 generations

Would definitely rent again, house well maintained and clean, wild horses visited are location daily. Beach easily accessible by walking or driving, even though we had to drive 8 miles of 4x4 beach driving it was not an issue and never a dull ride, all 3 husbands enjoyed the drive and rest of family enjoyed the ocean view. Trips into town were positive many places to eat or just grab and ice cream. Grocery stores all easily accessible.

First time Outer Banks

Kaptain’s Treasurer is a beautiful vacation home. Our family appreciated how well thought out the property is for vacation hopes and needs. The 4x4 access only property was a new experience and for first time OBX vacation, this was a full committed experience. The daily observation of the horses was a breathtaking sight. Wonderful family time.

A great time!

We had a great time! Properly was in perfect proximity to the beach and after we learned the ropes of the 4x4 beach driving, we loved it. We had considered driving AWD vehicles and were relieved we decided to rent 4x4. For anyone flying into Norwalk we rented a Jeep Wrangler from Marquis off TURO and would 100% recommend. I’ll try to link it. Thanks again! Check out this car on Turo!

I was looking to do something different and I got it.

The house was a good location.As on prior places we have stayed it is going to be a lil tuff on the elderly ones as far as steps.We are used to that.Coming in on peak high tide was a complete eye opener for the first time , driving 8 miles on the beach.Next day I was good to go.House was cool, Horses were cool and the weather was nice.You will need to make very good preparations unless you want to travel back to town everyday.Plenty of sunscreen and bug spray and you might have to remove a pile of horse$&@@“:.Just saying.Would go back🤘

Great family trip

This vacation house was everything we were looking for this year. We had easy access to the beach a nice pool to relax in and a hot tub for the evenings. The 3rd floor was a great gathering spot for everyone and fit us all when it was time to eat. We realized a few days into the trip that the drying wasn’t drying the towels/clothes very fast and within 2 days the super nice pool/handy man came with a brand new dryer. Laura and David were amazing! We had a wonderful week!

Beach

Our family ranged in age from 63 to 6 months. 4 adult couples and 4 kids. Starting with the con’s: Not many though. The house has no gas grill. Problem is the charcoal grill is 3 floors down. So inconvenient. Pots n pans in kitchen we’re from 1980’s!!! Bring a sauté pan cuz your eggs are gonna stick! Now the pro’s: house is roomy and tons of bathrooms. Even one outside! Pools were great and hot tub was a nice one. Best part was the 2 second ride to beach! Or 5 min walk to beach. Ice at the fire station was a blessing. Also, we went into town but airing tires up and down is not fun. Especially when the lines are long!!!

Post Covid Family Escape

Our experience at this home was nothing short of wonderful. We enjoyed every minute at this property. The beach is a short walk over a hill away everything worked very well around the house. The only challenge with this property is driving to it and driving away from it. Driving on the beach and up the sand dune hill can be a bit challenging which should only be done at low tide! Also, leaving the property was a particular challenge as one has to not only deal with driving on sand they also have to leave the property and go home!

Beautiful property in an ideal location

This was the perfect pandemic getaway for our family. The property was even better than it appeared in the listing and was just a short walk from the beach. The sunroom, pool, and hot tub made our stay absolutely perfect. The property manager was very responsive to our questions and concerns. We will definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity.

1st time on 4x4 beach

Have been coming to OBX all of my life but had never stayed farther north than Duck so was curious/nervous to how staying on the 4x4 beach would be. The convenience of not having to unpack my truck all week was great. Just wake up, drive 200 yds and relax. The house was great - clean and had plenty of space. Property managers were quick with responses to my questions before we came down and I didn’t need them at all during the week. Great trip!!

Beautiful holiday house

Our family of 5 and another family of 4 had an amazing holiday at Kaptain’s Treasure. The house is beautifully decorated and laid out very well. We had 4 teenagers and a tween with us. Everyone had enough space to have alone time when they wanted it. We were all able to hang out and play games or watch movies in comfort. The pool was a great addition on our lazy mornings when we didn’t want to rush to the beach. The proximity to beach from the house was ideal. We could walk down easily and the view from the top floor was lovely. We had a great two weeks at Kaptian’s Treasure and look forward to a return trip.

Great place, great location

We enjoyed our first rental experience in the Outer Banks. Unique location 7 miles drive on the beach to the house. House was in great condition with all the amenities needed for a great stay. Wild horses in the yard was a definite plus. Would highly recommend the rental.
