The automatic door lock is very finicky and it's difficult to access the property with the property manager speaking to my husband like he was incapable when we called unable to enter the property. Once accessed, the unit was advertised as maximum 6 occupants with a hide-a-bed couch which had been replaced with a very small, maybe 4 foot piece of furniture not suitable for sleeping my tall teenager with the overall property not suited for the 5 of us who booked it. The doors were delapitated. The washing machine shakes the entire building.

Nice house, but the floors were all sandy like nobody had swept. Light in the hallway bathroom over toilet does not work. Deck door didn't lock. And the house does NOT sleep 6 as they have updated the couch in the living room and it is not a sleeper sofa.

Relaxing during Dance Competition

The house was easy to access, very clean and tidy, and accessible to multiple activities and restaurants. The beach was within a blocks walk and the area was quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Not Worth It

The only positive comment I can say is the location was decent. Close to beach and restaurants. The issues we communicated with the property manager and was never given a response: the pictures are a lie. That’s not the furniture in the house. The couch was so uncomfortable we couldn’t relax and watch TV or chill. The furniture was filthy. The kitchen table had patio chairs. The kitchen didn’t have supplies. I had to go buy an oven mitt to use the oven. The back door wouldn’t lock because the door was broken. The living room TV has only an antenna and we got 2 channels. The washer smells horrible. The hall bathroom had a light out so shower was dark. The bathroom in master had no body wash in the bottle. The closet door was jammed. There were no extra linens. There were no blinds on the windows. Anyone can see in the living room at night. Some people like darker sleeping conditions so there should be an option with blinds. The AC finally worked correctly once we connected the thermostat to the WiFi

I was initially skeptical of the size of the space, but when we arrived the house was much bigger than expected and well maintained. The rest of the house was nicely decorated, rooms were large and spacious. Master bath was also spacious and updated with a large closet. The large deck was a great bonus for all of us and enjoyed sitting outside during the evening. The parking area under the house was large and spacious enough for my truck and another vehicle. The management team was always available by text which is something you don't get with other rentals. The bay side beach was within walking distance but didn't get to go because of our busy schedule. We definitely would rent this place again in the future and highly recommend it for anyone wanting a quiet space by the water. Thank you again to the management company for making our trip a pleasant one.

Great Stay at Breezy By the Beach

My family and I spent a week and a half at this property while work was being done on our house. The location was very convenient, and the house was very comfortable. We had no problems during our stay, and were very happy with the property overall. Thank you!

Perfect home

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect place to stay. We loved the fact that it is next the beach and the house was very clean on arrival. Would definitely recommend this place to stay for vacationing.

Disappointed

Door to deck was broken and had a temporary patch job so we did not feel comfortable using the deck. Also there was no grill on deck. Also living and dining room furniture was different from add. So much so that we left Friday afternoon.

Needs TLC

When we walked in to the house there’s a sign that said please remove your shoes and so we did. The first thing that we noticed was that there was sand throughout the house. We understand that it’s a beach house and that there might be some sand but it was in every room. It seemed like the cleaning crew hit the important spots like bed linens and bathroom sinks and showers cleanliness but there was a film in the nights stands and bathroom counters as if they weren’t wiped down. The door leading to the deck had huge cracks at the top and bottom as if it had been slammed open to many times so it was never was totally secure and when it rained it leaked inside. The cabinets looked as if they were about to fall off the wall. The management company said they were going to contact me and never did. Although it’s relatively close to the Lexington and the aquarium, the neighborhood isn’t exactly the best. It is walking distance to the beach.

EXCEEDED Our Expectations!

We had a wonderful experience staying at this home. We have two young children so it was very important for us to be within walking distance to the beach. The beach was so much closer than we even thought! We even loved that the road that the home is on has little to no traffic. The home has a great concrete driveway and space under the home that we were able to let the kids ride their bikes and not worry about cars flying by. There was also no stress of cars when walking to the beach. The beach was NOT busy at all and we went during Spring Break! It felt like a private oasis going from the beach home to walking out on the beach. The location is also amazing because the Texas State Aquarium and the USS Lexington were right down the road! The home itself exceeded our expectations! It looked so much better and felt so big with tall ceilings compared to the pictures. The home was clean and had everything we needed for cooking our meals. As an added bonus I LOVED that they had beach towels that we could use and even had chairs that you could take out to the beach or for the deck. We DO plan to stay at this home again and would 1,000% recommend it!

Great Home away from Home !!!!!

We could not be more happier with our stay . It is down the street from the Aquarium and literally across the street and a few steps to beach access. The inside was very clean, not a eww or ick throughout the whole house!!!!!! We had one small problem with something not working properly and they responded within minutes to apologize and let me know that they would send maintenance. The maintenance guys were very nice and got in and out . We had an amazing stay and I would definitely book again!

Overall satisfied

A few girlfriends and I stayed in this house for a weekend trip. Overall, it was a good experience. We felt like the house could stand to be deep cleaned. Floors leave a residue on the bottoms of feet and layers of dust can be seen on some walls. Super comfortable, clean bedding and very nice to have laundry machines and a stocked kitchen. The area had lots of construction and was quite rundown, but good proximity to downtown and the bay.
