We loved our month stay here !!! Highly recommend!! Thank you !! decorated so cute nice view! Our host was wonderful , when we got on we want to do som laundry from our travel down from ND and the wash machine didn’t didn’t work and she had it handled to have a new one and a dryer (which was going out ) as soon as possible! So awesome ! ! After that the only problem we had was the dish washer isn’t working well , we had to teach most our dished by hand , but we didn’t want to complain as they just got us a washer and dryer and we do appreciate it !! Great place !

DISAPPOINTED

My intention with this review is to meaningfully inform the booking decisions of other vacasa.com users in regards to renting Beach Club 331. The back door to the outside balcony is rotting and the door doesn't close properly. The sofa springs are shot. It squeaked every time you sat on it and was so uncomfortable that I couldn't even sit on it. The bed is shot as well. The provided key card didn't work. My guest and I couldn't use the car wash area despite repeated attempts. When contacting management personnel in the management office, I was told the earliest someone could come out to address the issue would be the following week after which I would have been already checked out. This caused me to have to pay for a car wash 3 times since I drove on the beach in a rental car. The Overhead mini recessed lights flicked on and off or dimmed when air conditioner clicked on and at other times spontaneously. This is an electrical problem which is probably downright dangerous. The outlet cover behind the sofa is missing. There were only 3 forks in silverware drawer The pots and pans need replacing. The ice maker was turnedoff when we arrived. The tray for ice was on a closet shelf. I had already purchased a bag of ice and hadn't found the ice tray until later in my stay. My guess is it doesn't work. There were no instructions posted that indicated that you had to flip a switch to turn on icemaker, and removal of tray makes one believe it didn't work.

Location and cleanliness were the only good things...

I put in a service request the first day I got there which was on a Monday because there was no cool water in the shower, and they contacted me on Thursday (after I left) saying they JUST received the request. I would have hoped to have someone come that same day. Super hot showers in this humidity is awful. I even texted back allowing maintenance to enter the home, but nobody came. The bed and sofa need to be replaced. The bed springs were SHOT making it a TACO BED and they put on an expensive bed topper to distract the obvious. Sofa was stained and you could tell people sit on it wet. The shower was way too hot, and everything was backwards - cold was to the left and hot to the right, but no cold water in the shower. However, the cleaning people did a fantastic job, and the beach was walking distance which I loved. Location was perfect. Keep in mind this unit is on the 3rd floor - which I also liked because there is no noise above you. Very quiet and safe. Nicely updated in kitchen and bath with granite. Air conditioning worked great, but the air filter looked like it has not been changed in years. These are all mediocre issues and not deter us from enjoying ourselves here.

Staycation

We live fairly close (Orange Grove), but stayed on the Island while our boys were attending surf camp. The location is very convenient and had all the amenities we were looking for. There were just a couple of minor things that would have made our stay even better. 1) the faucet in the bathroom (tub/shower) was tricky and we couldn’t figure out how to get the hot water to work until we had already been there a few days 2) there wasn't a sufficient amount of toilet paper for a family of 4 x 5 days Overall, our stay was pleasant and we would choose Beach Club again. Just keep in mind that this is an older property, and could use some updates.

Broken shower valve stck o scorching hot.

Broken shower valve stuck on scorching hot. Could not take a shower. Place smelled like mold. Back door latch missing plate door always a half an inch from closing properly obvious rain damage to floor near patio door. Black mold on bathroom ac register vent and bedroom register vent. Called to get resolution and never contacted back by manager. Sad waste of money.

Worst Experience Ever

Upon arriving at this property I quickly realized I was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. I noticed there was no security at the building entrance with no door (so anyone could come in and go to any door). Once I brought all of my suitcases, bags and coolers up 3 flights of stairs I noticed my room was the first at the top of the stairs which made me feel uncomfortable. Then I noticed the multiple deadbolts on a very thin door and I was on high alert. Upon entering the room I could hear the neighbors taking clear as day through the walls. The floors squeaked, the door was thin and I felt 100% unsafe. I hauled all of my stuff back down the terribly dirty hallways and staircases with peeling paint and went to a hotel. I was staying for four nights and when I told the company how I felt and what my experience was they said they wouldn’t give me any money back and never canceled ANY of my nights regardless of the room/building conditions. I am shocked that VRBO isn’t doing more to combat unsafe locations and scammers taking peoples money with a room definitely not as advertised.

Great location & stay

The property was clean, affordable, and conveniently located, which is all I care about. It was quiet on the weekend we were there, and the parking lot was well lit at night, I did not feel worried about my vehicle. Good area for pets. We like to do things in Corpus and Port Aransas, and our favorite beach is the National Seashore so this was a really great location for us. We would stay here again.

Nice place, close to beach

The pillows were nasty and stained inside, the bed was very uncomfortable! The bed topper was horrible, thick and too soft, you sink into the bed. the pillow cases were clean. Hardly any water pressure, and a few more kitchen essentials would have been nice. Only two trash bags for a week was not enough. The condo itself was nice and a close walk to the beach. You can see the beach from the balcony.

Beautiful view

Our stay here was wonderful, the bed was super comfortable. The place was stocked, clean and had everything we needed. It is feet away from a fishing pond and feet away from the pool! The beach is literally under a minute away. Safe quiet place to bring your family and pet. I want to mention for pet people please check your dogs paws for sticky’s they are completely all over the grassland when taking your pet out. Only safe grass pet area was near the pond side that backs up to the pool. Third floor warning for people with bad knees or elderly. It was ok for us I took it as daily exercise! I had an issue with the keypad lock but when I called the property manager he helped me quickly and I was back to enjoying my time. He made himself available by text if I had any further issues. There was an air bed in the closet if the sofa bed isnt comfy enough. Other than that it was a complete success! I would stay here again!

Content! We enjoyed our stay.

Cold reception at Padre Island

Property was fine. However we didn't have a coffee pot and let property managers know and were told we'd have one the next morning. Two days later no coffee pot! Also, lost power at 2 AM on day 2 of 3 day vacation and power never came back. Had to spend last day at Holiday Inn Xpress as Temperatures dropped to low 20's at night.
