The remodel was beautiful. We've been coming to Beach Club for years, but this unit is hands-down the nicest we've ever stayed in. That being said, the reason I gave it four stars overall, instead of five is the bed in the master bedroom. To me the mattress felt like it is worn out, but the worst part was the creaky bed frame. Every time either of us repositioned or moved at all throughout the night, the bed frame creaked loudly - very annoying! We sleep on a TemperPedic at home, and while I realize that I can't expect to find that in a vacation rental, it was definitely a disappointment to have to endure a squishy, noisy bed at an otherwise A condo on vacation. Since everything else was top-notch, I would definitely rent this unit again if the main bed was upgraded.Sidenote - I realize this is something that individual owners probably have no direct control over, but as someone who works out very regularly, I have to say that much of the strength training equipment in the fitness center is very worn out and inadequate, and desperately needs to be replaced.Thanks for your consideration.

This was my 3rd visit to the Beach Club Condominiums. This stay was very disappointing as the pictures of Unit 161that are advertised did not match what I saw and experienced. The unit is not well maintained and is in need of upgrades. The walls are dirty with noticeable patch work, ceiling fans are dusty, cooking ware is old, dishwasher is inoperable, coffee maker is old and doesn't work well. Coffee table has a splintered leg. Most disturbing were the presence of multiple tadpoles in the 2nd bathroom.There were other issues and I have pictures to support my complaints. The amenities were clean and enjoyable.

This spot was perfect for our needs!

I took my parents & 15 year old son on a 3 night stay. This 1st floor condo is just up the drive from the beach, around the corner from convenient store & the grocery store is not far at all. My dad uses a walker & was able to move freely around the home as well as easy master restroom/shower access. He didn’t have difficulty with the building entrance steps. The home was very cool & clean throughout, crisp clean bedding & comfortable pillows/beds, nice windows for natural light, washer/dryer worked great. There is an ice maker, blow dryers, iron/board, mop/broom & vacuum. I only needed to bring meal items/condiments & a small pack of cleaning & laundry supplies for just in case. My parents really enjoyed their stay as well & we look forward to another visit, soon. Thank you so much, for sharing your home with us!

This condo was great for the entire family.

Check in & check out was very easy. The condo is up to date w/a washer & dryer, clean linens & towels & a stocked kitchen for basic cooking. All beds were comfortable except the sofa bed. The sofa bed is ok for children but I wouldn't recommend an adult sleep on it. The closet had extra pillows & sheets/blanket for the sofa bed. Overall, weenjoyed our stay very much! It is close to the beach & close to the pool. We loved that it is pet friendly & we will most likely reserve this condo again!

Girls Trip

Condo was comfortable and we loved the pool. Liked that the condo was so close to the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. The only issues was the upstairs condo had kids running and jumping ALL the time which was very annoying. I did politely tell the mom about the noise but 10 minutes later it started again. I remember seeing an earlier review about this noise so I wonder if they are the actual owners. I have a handicapped sister so we needed a first floor. Also, we had to call Spectrum when the wifi was shut off and was told the owner didn't pay the bill so we had no tv or internet. I notified Padre Escapes about both of these issues and they sent a text that a team member would notify me. The only notification was to tell me I could extend our stay for 30% off. Why would we want to stay longer without wifi and the thundering ceiling overhead? Other than those two issues everything was great. I would not stay again in unit #161 again because of this but would still consider another unit at the Beach Club.

Overall our stay was good but there were SO many flies in the condo from the moment we checked in. It was a little small for 4 adults, a toddler, and a dog, but we were outside a lot so not really a big deal.

Great location, a bit dirty.

It was a great location, quick access to the beach. However, the dishes had not been cleaned, there was trash and food underneath some of the beds, and there was dirt or something on the pillows. We actually left a day early because it just didn’t seem clean.
