Great experience

This was a great place to stay. It was close to the beach and restaurants. The pool and hot tub were a great bonus for the chilly beach days.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I have stayed at this condo before the renovations. The renovations were nicely done. The condo had everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds were comfortable and loved the updated shower in the master bathroom. I would suggest two things for this condo: a full length mirror in the master bedroom and a deadbolt on the front door. The property is in a great location, a half a block from the beach. Padre Escapes is always communicative and there if you need them.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great weather and location. Kayaked among the wonderful shorebirds almost everyday. Used the sparkling pool and hotub. Walked to the beach and boardwalk from the unit. Shopped at the isand supermarket and ate at the wonderful local eateries. 80 degrees in November is remarkable.

Our daughter lives in the complex and our unit was so much nicer. We did not go to the beach as it was just to hot and windy for us. Hope to come back in the fall or next spring and will try to rent this same unit again .

I understand that kids will run sometimes. But that child would not stop. Parents did not even try to stop or redirect the child to stop all day. Other than that, we love this condo and will recommend Padre Escapes to all our friends and family.

This was my 3rd visit to the Beach Club Condominiums. This stay was very disappointing as the pictures of Unit 161that are advertised did not match what I saw and experienced. The unit is not well maintained and is in need of upgrades. The walls are dirty with noticeable patch work, ceiling fans are dusty, cooking ware is old, dishwasher is inoperable, coffee maker is old and doesn't work well. Coffee table has a splintered leg. Most disturbing were the presence of multiple tadpoles in the 2nd bathroom.There were other issues and I have pictures to support my complaints. The amenities were clean and enjoyable.

This spot was perfect for our needs!

I took my parents & 15 year old son on a 3 night stay. This 1st floor condo is just up the drive from the beach, around the corner from convenient store & the grocery store is not far at all. My dad uses a walker & was able to move freely around the home as well as easy master restroom/shower access. He didn’t have difficulty with the building entrance steps. The home was very cool & clean throughout, crisp clean bedding & comfortable pillows/beds, nice windows for natural light, washer/dryer worked great. There is an ice maker, blow dryers, iron/board, mop/broom & vacuum. I only needed to bring meal items/condiments & a small pack of cleaning & laundry supplies for just in case. My parents really enjoyed their stay as well & we look forward to another visit, soon. Thank you so much, for sharing your home with us!

The remodel was beautiful. We've been coming to Beach Club for years, but this unit is hands-down the nicest we've ever stayed in. That being said, the reason I gave it four stars overall, instead of five is the bed in the master bedroom. To me the mattress felt like it is worn out, but the worst part was the creaky bed frame. Every time either of us repositioned or moved at all throughout the night, the bed frame creaked loudly - very annoying! We sleep on a TemperPedic at home, and while I realize that I can't expect to find that in a vacation rental, it was definitely a disappointment to have to endure a squishy, noisy bed at an otherwise A condo on vacation. Since everything else was top-notch, I would definitely rent this unit again if the main bed was upgraded.Sidenote - I realize this is something that individual owners probably have no direct control over, but as someone who works out very regularly, I have to say that much of the strength training equipment in the fitness center is very worn out and inadequate, and desperately needs to be replaced.Thanks for your consideration.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was fine for a short excursion to the beach. However given the high price we were charged and extra fees it was disappointing. When we arrived there was construction on the building. We had no dedicated parking space that we were promised. We had to walk around the complex to get to the unit - which was challenging with kids and a baby. Work was being done the entire time with tons of noise starting at 8am. Padre did not once offer anything except "sorry - we don't control the HOA". The unit itself was dated but clean and things worked fine. Proximity to the beach was good.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my 3rd visit to the Beach Club Condominiums and by far this was my worst experience. The unit that we stayed in did not match the pictures that were advertised. Unit 161 is in serious need ofan upgrade. There are noticeable areas on the walls that have been patched over. The coffee table has a noticeable splintered leg, the flooring has noticeable residual adhesive on it. There was rust in the ceiling in the second bathroom from a door trap that wasn't completely shut. The dishwasher was inoperable, cooking ware is old, refrigerator is rusted on the side,coffee maker is old and doesn't work properly and most disturbing were the multiple baby frogs that were in the bathtub nightly in the second bathroom. I do have pictures to support my concerns. The beds and pillows were comfortable and we enjoyed the ground amenities. concerns.

This condo was great for the entire family.

Check in & check out was very easy. The condo is up to date w/a washer & dryer, clean linens & towels & a stocked kitchen for basic cooking. All beds were comfortable except the sofa bed. The sofa bed is ok for children but I wouldn't recommend an adult sleep on it. The closet had extra pillows & sheets/blanket for the sofa bed. Overall, weenjoyed our stay very much! It is close to the beach & close to the pool. We loved that it is pet friendly & we will most likely reserve this condo again!
