AIR CONDITIONING WOULD HAVE CHANGED EVERYTHING
The view from our room was a beautiful pastoral picture of the Codswolds District. The pub service & quality was excellent. The staff was professional & food tasty. We were there when the September temperature was extremely warm which made the room HOT. Hotels.com said there was air conditioning but Quarrymans Arms never had AC. We were so miserable we had to leave. Quarrymans Arms did refund our prepayment of the second night. We were disappointed we had to leave. If there would have been air conditioning or the temps cooler, our visit would have been perfect.

Nice and clean as described! The room was well equipped with free water/milk, and we loved the little fan in the room. The breakfast was terrific and delicious, and the staffs were nice and helpful. The location was convenient that’s only about 20 mins drive from Bath, and the view was nice.

The Quarryman's Arms is perfect. I can't say enough about this place. We arrived in the afternoon and settled in. We ate in the restaurant and played trivia with the locals. Great evening. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The view out the back is spectacular. The staff was nice. Make reservations if you plan to eat there as they book up. Wish we had booked more than one night.

English county side vacation
Great location in English countryside, lots of nice walk , pub is nice and cozy with two outdoor seating, front of the property had amazing view, overall nice place to stay for couple of days , room was adequate with nice amenities such as small fridge filled with drinks and goodies, bed needs improvements as it is hard , also walls need sounds proofing as you can hear next room flushing the toilets and you can hear their conversation, so if you have a couple who are loud specially after the midnight like we had then you are for sleepes night .

The room was good the servicd excellent. Only issues breakfast not served until 8.00am which was late for me on this occasion. Next time i will know. Perhaps Hotels.com could highlight breakfast and other noteable times.

A great place to stay. Convenient for Bath, but in great countryside location. Food was excellent, although the chilli linguine was slightly too hot. Great staff and room was brilliant.

Booked our stay here to enjoy as part of a weekend in Bath. Lots of contact before arriving and very helpful on the phone when needing to call. Lovely quiet location which was sign posted (the Satnav had other ideas so the signage was useful) and fantastic views. Great check in when we arrived with thorough show of our room, emergency exits and all the information we needed. The room and bathroom were a good size, full of lots of finishing touches (pillow sprays, room sprays, hand sanitizer, earplugs, teas, coffee and hot chocolate etc). Decor was to our liking so felt really cosy and relaxing. Lovely pub atmosphere too with lots of people enjoying a drink / meal. Enjoyed a quality evening meal, very attentive service and lots of options to pick from, thoroughly enjoyed! Good selection for breakfast too and a lovely peaceful experience looking out to the hills and the countryside. Great place to stay and enjoy if visiting Bath and not wanting to stay in the city centre. Wonderful weekend away, thankyou!

Lovely rooms and very friendly staff. We were there on a Sunday so a word of warning that the pub restaurant was very busy and a lot of food had run out by 18:30. That said the food was great.

We had a wonderful stay at The Quarrymans Arms. The pub had a wonderful atmosphere, the room was lovely and the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was fab, and we would absolutely stay again!

Our stay at The Quarrymans Arms was perfect in every way. Myself and my mum thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break - The room was lovely! Decorated well and super clean! The food was amazing! The staff were friendly and attentive. The scenery and country-setting were the icing on the cake… We will be returning, and highly recommend!

Highly recommended inn
Comfortable rooms in a picturesque location. The bathroom is freshly renovated, nice products and fluffy towels provided, comfy mattress in the room. Everything is spotless clean, the team is very welcoming. Great food for breakfast and dinner. Very highly recommended.

The view was amazing. The room was really nice. The only issue is that when we get into the room. The bed and the pillows are dusty. And the bin in the toilet was not change. But all in all it was fantastic stay. Breakfast was lovely with lovely view.

There was a lot of potential for this stay but it did fall short in some areas. We have dinner at this pub - the food at the pub was excellent but the table service was poor. We waited around 15 minutes to order food, despite being the first of three tables to he seated. We wanted to order a second round of drinks but could only get the waiter's attention when he came to clear our plates. After ordering drinks, we waited and the drinks never came. It seems that the drinks were totally forgotten. In the morning, we went to the bar to enquire about breakfast but there was no one there. Remembering the previous night's dinner service, we decided we may as well skip the breakfast. The room was relatively clean - it didn't seem to have been comletely sanitised as there were sticky spots on the desk and bedside table where it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. There was a nice selection of items in the mini bar and really lovely glassware in the room. Also, rather than instant coffee, there was a cafetiere in the room which I thought was a lovely touch.
