In summer, the days invite you to enjoy the swimming pool with open views of the countryside, relax in the sunshine and embrace the peace and beauty of the surrounding nature. In winter, the landscape takes on a different atmosphere, and the house becomes a cosy retreat, with a warm fireplace and all the comfort you need to unwind and escape everyday life.

Casa do Coelho is one of the three country houses at Monte do Areeiro — Perdiz, Coelho and Javali — set within a rural estate where nature is an essential part of the experience. Wake up to views of the green countryside, listen to the birds singing and enjoy the presence of the horses and other animals that live on the estate.

The house features two bedrooms: one with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom, and a second bedroom, also with two single beds and a bathroom in the hallway. The living room is comfortable and welcoming, featuring a fireplace, a double sofa bed and a unique decorative feature crafted from a centuries-old cork oak tree from the estate itself.

An additional bed can be provided upon request, allowing the house to accommodate up to 7 guests.

Outside, the covered terrace is the perfect place to start your day at a leisurely pace, enjoy breakfast overlooking the countryside or simply appreciate the peaceful surroundings.

During the warmer months, the swimming pool is one of the highlights of Monte do Areeiro. Surrounded by beautiful rural scenery and offering uninterrupted countryside views, it is the ideal place to swim, unwind or enjoy the late afternoon sunshine.

When the cooler days arrive, the experience changes while retaining its charm: walks around the estate, peaceful moments surrounded by nature and the pleasure of returning to the house to relax by the warmth of the fireplace.
