"Very pleased with my 11 night stay. Had a water leak half way through and it was handled exceptionally well by the young man in the reception.
It's clean and well equipped kitchen with necessities. Great place for sleeping and exploring/working in Bordeaux. Clean and nice.
Location very good. Quiet and nice surroundings and for me the 2000m2 artist shop 30m from the hotel was like a candy store.
Close to tram, 2 min walk, 2 lines. Also close for catching the bus. Walkable to several sites for visiting, eg cite de vin. Chartrons is a very nice and quiet neighborhood and only about 15 min walk to the Garonne river, and the boardwalk.
Nice restaurants and coffee places near by. Also the oldest and best bread /pastery shop is about 15 minutes away. And the excellent cheese shop, Fromagerie.
Bordeaux per se is a wonderful, friendly, and slow paced city: a 50 minute train ride to the sea with the local train, 30 min ride to Saint- Emilion. Also for a daytrip to Biarritz. Saint Jean de Luz, and about 2 hours from the Spanish border, close to San Sebastian.
Great value for the money! Will stay here again next time visiting Bordeaux."
