Roomy and Pleasant
House was big and homey. Sarah was very responsive and helpful. The neighborhood is quiet and the home is big enough for an extended stay. Close to shopping and food. We would stay again. King bed is comfy, but a mattress topper may be needed for the other bedrooms. Not a deal breaker at all, just a suggestion. 😉 Thank you for our 10 day home away from home!

The area is nice and quiet and the house is beautiful itself. Very close to downtown area and also a family friendly duck park that we liked to visit from time to time.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable after a day of travel and a lot of sight seeing! The host was very accommodating and easy to work with and the price was affordable! I would highly recommend this location. It was perfect for our family of five!

Review
The carpet was so dirty and stained. Needs to be replaced to rented to the public. The mattresses were like cots on bed frames and the tv did not work. We were disappointed

Unfortunately I can only address issues that are brought up to me during a stay. Saying everything is great during your stay and being angry at check-out and leaving a bad review is dishonest. I hope other hosts do not have to have this same experience.

Linda, I'm sorry you didn't have a stellar experience on your stay. I have the carpets scheduled for cleaning every 3 months and unfortunately, it is about 2 weeks shy of that date. As you can imagine, it all depends on how the guests treat the house as to how clean they stay. I appreciate your feedback though and will make a point to review and adjust this cleaning schedule. Thanks again for your honesty!

We stayed here for almost 3 months and were very pleased with the facilities. There are 3 big bedrooms and lots of space in the home. The hostess is very attentive and is available if you need anything. We would absolutely stay here again. Very nice quiet neighborhood.

Weekend with family
We had a wonderful time with our family. The house was clean and neat with plenty of room for us all. Some of the family were able to to some hiking and exploring Cottonwood. Our host was very responsive to my questions and requests. We will keep this property on file for future visits!

Our stay
This is a great house for families or groups, very private bedrooms. There is plenty of space - in all the rooms. To get to the back yard from inside the house you do need to go through a bedroom. The home was fine, the carpet needs replacing desperately- but although it was old and worn, it was clean except for a large stain. The neighborhood location was off a main road, so it’s easy to drive to wherever you want. The neighborhood itself was a mix of nice homes and junky homes. The home next to us had a side yard full of junk and trash, which you could see from some of the windows.

Nice property and good location for hiking
If you want to hike in the Sedona area, this house in Cottonwood is a great choice. There is good hiking around Cottonwood and Sedona areas are 30 minutes away. Plenty of places to eat in Cottonwood and Jerome.

Cute little home.
We had a great time staying in cottonwood. The home was perfect for the 4 of us. It did not have any extra linens or towels. Also alot of cabinets were locked so there was not much for cooking items. The front yard and back yard had not been landscapes in atleast a few months. There were lots of weeds out front and the grass in the back was mid shine heighth. It needs some attention. But luckily we were only there to sleep and shower.

I'm sorry you weren't completely satisfied with your stay. Unfortunately, we aren't like a hotel and able to refresh towels and linens after each night. We try to leave enough towels for the number of nights you stay, in your case it was 2 nights. And I sincerely apologize for the weeds, during monsoon season it's hard to find a time when it's not raining to get the landscaping done and that leads to high weeds very quickly. The locked cabinets are only for our personal items (hygiene items, etc), all the cooking/eating items are in the open cabinets. Glad you had a great time in Cottonwood!

Home away from home
This was the perfect place to stay for our family trip! 3 large bedrooms-2 bathrooms. Great location. Close to all the sights on our to-do list. Tuzigoot, Jerome, Montezuma Castle, Red Rock SP, Slide Rock SP, even the Grand Canyon. Wish we would’ve found old town Cottonwood, earlier. Preferred the small town over Sedona’s tourism. After a long day of hiking, swimming, cliff jumping-this was the perfect place to call home away from home!!! Would definitely stay here, again.

Area beautiful
Nice place well maintained, a little surprised by the lack of extra toilet paper and paper towels or any extra shower towels. Pictures show fireplace but it is taped closed, ie not usable. There are nice TV's in the rooms but no type of DVD or Blu Ray player to show movies. Owner is nice and helpful.

We do have a new gas fireplace, I apologize for the taped up/unusable fireplace that you experienced while we were updating it. If you'd like to book again to see our new fireplace please don't hesitate to reach out and I'd love to offer a discount to rebook. :) Also, I'll definitely add a DVD/Blu Ray player and some DVDs to add to the smart tv for those that would like it. Extremely nice house, pleasant neighborhood. Lots of space, there were only two of us but six would have been just as comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if I was ever in the area.

Spacious clean house in nice area
3 large bedrooms and 2 nice bathrooms. Lots of comfy couches. A large family or group of friends could stay here comfortably. Very clean and all the kitchen gadgets you need. It's about 10 minutes to downtown Cottonwood and about 25minutes to Sedona driving. There's a lovely duck pond within walking distance of the house. I was there for a meeting and the large table was perfect for my small group. The neighborhood is quiet. I loved it and would definitely stay there again. I would have liked to check in an hour earlier and probably could have but I didn't ask ahead of time. Sedona is so busy nowadays that staying further away s great!

Spacious home, responsive owner, convenient location. Second time we have rented this home and look forward to staying there in the future. Recommend this for anyone needing a rental in the Cottonwood/Sedona area.

There are few small items that would have been helpful. More towels, wash clothes, dish towels, dish clothes, pods for dish washer, regular toaster, light bulbs. Also for an extended stay like our's of 3 weeks washer/dryer, which we could do bedding and towels. But for us that's what Walmart is for. Overall very Nice place.

Home is located in a conveniently located, quiet neighborhood. The house is spacious with lots of bedrooms and sitting areas. Although there were only two of us the extra room was relaxing and the washer and dryer were appreciated as we had a longer stay. We are looking forward to renting the home again in the spring.
