Finally, upstairs, you'll find the third bedroom, with a sloping ceiling, and two single beds (90x190cm). From the fully equipped kitchen and dining area, you can access the terrace overlooking the garden of over 3000m² and the private, heated, 11x3m, 1.5m deep saltwater swimming pool, open from June to the end of September and secured by a roller shutter. In the heart of the Isle Valley, the gîte is ideally located for exploring the entire department. You'll be equidistant (45 minutes) from the Bergerac region (vineyards, fortified towns), the Vézère Valley (caves, troglodytic sites, chasm), and the lovely walks of the Périgord Vert, and just an hour from Sarlat and the sites of the Dordogne Valley (castles, gardens). Feel free to take the Campniac ferry, a fun way to cross the river and walk to the historic center of Périgueux. Explore the impressive Gallo-Roman remains, the medieval old town, and the majestic Saint-Front Cathedral. As for gastronomy, the city abounds with excellent restaurants serving Périgord classics, and its Wednesday and Saturday markets are very popular with locals and visitors alike! You can also enjoy walking or cycling along the "greenway" that runs alongside the Isle River.
