“Reception staff was very welcoming. She accidentally gave me the wrong room key but called me before I had brought all of my things in from the car and was very apologetic. The second room had an overwhelming floral scent. I checked at the front desk and was told that all of the rooms are sprayed with eucalyptus. “Place was great and staff were friendly ”

“The room was tidy but there were a few incomplete projects in the bathroom. However it did not affect my stay. The breakfast had a variety and was well stocked. The staff at breakfast were very attentive and constantly restocking. Check-in and check-out were simple and fast. ”

“Red roof inns can be hit or miss. But dog owners love them because of their pet policy. I have stayed at 100 Red Roof Inns. I can count the ones that I would stay again on one hand. This one was clean and had a comfy bed. The tv and toilet worked. And the staff was great! I always get nervous for my car in parking lots that have a lot of day and night activity. But you can request to park right in front of your room, and the area is well lit. I never felt unsafe.”

“Checkin was a mess. I was told to take a smaller room than what i had paid for, i insisted and was then given key to a room that was already occupied (with bags and clothes everywhere) Some 20 min later i got access to an unoccupied room. Attitude of reception staff nonchalant. Later during the stay i again found reception staff members non-cooperative. The hotel is old and feels dingy. Room itself fine however. Easy access to downtown Raleigh by bus, stop just 200 metres outside.”
