Back from a snowshoeing or skiing outing, enjoy the décor, the illuminated chapel of the hamlet, a cosy atmosphere in the chalet, a prelude to an evening of games and raclette or why a night out, to discover the starry mountain sky. An ideal mountain atmosphere to get together with your family and recharge your batteries.
The gite labelled 3 ears corresponds to the former dwelling of this house of this village house, the upper part corresponding to the old barn has also been renovated and is another separate rental.
Particular care has been taken in the decoration to offer you a warm and personalized mountain atmosphere. Everything has been renovated by the carpenter owner. Beds, stairs, kitchen, bathroom furniture, everything is handmade and custom-made. During the renovation we found the authentic pine ceiling! Embellishing the décor: painted doors with floral decoration (unique pieces), wooden paintings with Poya following a tradition of the Swiss Alps, pottery from Marnaz in Haute Savoie.
Far from the discomfort enjoyed by the family living there with 7 children in the middle of the last century, the cottage is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, dryer, dishwasher. This will not prevent you from enjoying the wonderfully fresh water that flows from the basins or bacchals a few meters away and that you can fetch before the summer meal. Spring water at will!
10 minutes by car from the slopes of Courchevel (departure from Le Praz) or for ski touring enthusiasts departure from the village if conditions allow it! In winter and summer season, it is possible to travel between the different levels of Courchevel using the free shuttles (stop at the hamlet), possibility to go down on foot (20 min) by car (3 min or 10 depending on the road taken) to Bozel to discover the village, the lake and do the shopping.
In summary, in winter, skiing, hiking, cultural discovery, in summer a walk from the cottage or in the nearby Vanoise park, cultural discovery with a wide program of free concerts and shows in Courchevel. And then everything you invent whatever the season and its colors... drawing the mountain, picnicking at altitude, swimming in the lakes, mountain biking, and also lazing around!
