“I was given a room for disabled people. No idea why, as the hotel did not seem to be fully booked, and I am not disabled. The shower had no hot water. I let it run for 5 mins and it was still cold. ”

“Bedroom beautifully presented. Tea, coffee and water in the room. Comfortable bed. Warm and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was well stocked good choice of drinks and cocktails. Breakfast, full breakfast included, delicious and lots of choice, eggs benedict, eggs royale etc. Would definitely recommend and stay again. There was a loyalty scheme but they didn't explain it so i have probably lost out on a lot of points. But otherwise excellent. ”

“Modern clean good location ideal for dog owners as table set aside for breakfast with your pet also wood walk 50 yards across the road which is a secure little dog walk. Breakfast not bad, only grimp was air con wasn’t throwing out much heat in a cold spell”

“Big disappointment, especially that I didn't get my late check-out as a gold member before the booking was indicated 2 hours late check-out. Hard bed and a very small room outdated toilet.”
